Appearance and length of Hanjiang bridge

It is a bridge connecting Hanjiang Road in Longshan District and Dongben in Tongquetai District, with a width of 36.8m and a length of1.005m. It is the earliest bridge across Hanjiang Island. Originally known as Hanjiang Highway Bridge and First Hanjiang Bridge,1984165438+1October 7th, the name of the bridge was changed to Hanjiang Bridge in order to keep consistent with the road name Hanjiang Road.

The highway bridge of Hanjiang Bridge was erected in April of 19 16, and the groundbreaking ceremony was held on May 27th, one month after the foundation works of the bridge started. After 19 months of construction, it was completed in 19 17 10 months. At that time, the bridge was 7.7 meters wide, the central lane was 4.5 meters, and the left and right auxiliary roads were 1.6 meters respectively. The part connected with the land has a dam, and the actual bridge length is 629 meters. Street lamps have been set up and become a place for Seoul citizens to walk. The number of people walking here is increasing, and the number of people who commit suicide by throwing themselves into the river is also increasing. In order to prevent similar accidents, a slogan with the words "Please stay" was hung on the bridge railing.
