Article 2: Actively promote funeral reform, eliminate feudal and superstitious funeral customs, and conduct funerals in a civilized and frugal manner. Article 3 Civil affairs departments at all levels are the administrative departments responsible for funeral and interment management, and implement unified management of funeral and interment work. Each city and county funeral management office (office, station) is responsible for the specific implementation of funeral and interment management work. Relevant departments such as public security, justice, industry and commerce, price, urban construction, transportation, land, sanitation, forestry, labor and personnel should coordinate with the civil affairs department to strengthen funeral management within the scope of their respective responsibilities. Article 4 Cremation should be actively promoted in places with dense population and convenient transportation. The division of cremation areas and burial areas shall be determined by the regional administrative offices, municipal and county people's governments, and shall be reported to the civil affairs department of the autonomous region for record. Article 5 All persons who die in the cremation area will be cremated unless otherwise stipulated by the state. Those who are not cremated will be dealt with as follows:
(1) The civil affairs department shall order the family members of the deceased to die within a time limit. Cremation. Article 8 In cremation areas, cities and counties with conditions may establish ashes cemeteries. Cremated remains can be stored in designated cremation storage areas in accordance with regulations.
