Some experts believe that through education and prevention, 80% of accidental injuries can be avoided, which requires us to have sufficient understanding of safety education. In order to strengthen students' safety awareness, our school often uses television, radio, newspapers, posters, etc. to let students understand the safety issues that exist in our lives.

Every parent and teacher hopes that we will go to school happily and go home safely. Traffic safety is an important factor that affects our safety. So, do we have traffic safety awareness?

Going to and from school is the most congested time of the day. When walking on the road, do not fight or chase each other, learn to be humble, and do not compete with motor vehicles for the right of way. For students who ride bicycles, not riding with others, not riding fast, not listening to headphones while riding, etc., keeping the vehicle in good condition, not driving in the wrong direction, and not rushing and turning sharply when turning, are all effective measures to ensure our traffic safety. With the arrival of winter, traffic safety has attracted more attention. Do not over-inflate your tires. This can increase friction with the ground and prevent slipping. At the same time, you must keep a large distance from pedestrians in front. This increases our safety factor.

In addition, fire safety is also very important. People's lives are inseparable from fire, but if it is improperly used or poorly managed, fires will occur, which seriously threatens people's lives, causes huge losses to people's property and national construction and development.

At school, we should be careful not to bring matches, lighters and other items into the campus; do not smoke in school; conduct experiments involving flammable chemicals in strict accordance with the requirements under the guidance of teachers; take good care of fire-fighting facilities, etc. . At home, we should be careful not to place flammable items in direct sunlight; turn off natural gas in time after use; do not play with fire, etc.

If a fire strikes, we must stay calm and actively rescue ourselves. The fire in Zhongbai Commercial Building in Jilin shocked the whole country, killing 54 people, many of whom died of panic and ignorance. Yuan Chang, a student from Toucheng Primary School in Nanshan District, Shenzhen, was selected in the "Pride of China" selection event some time ago because she calmly rescued her relatives by adopting correct self-rescue methods when her parents were suffering from gas poisoning. When the reporter interviewed her and asked her how she knew these first aid methods, Yuan Huan replied that she had learned them carefully in school. This shows how important safety education is to us. In the future study and life, we must conscientiously learn the knowledge of self-protection and self-rescue, exercise the ability of self-protection and self-rescue, carry out self-protection and self-rescue decisively and correctly, and deal with various abnormal situations and dangers encountered tactfully.
