Construction technology of expressway sign board

(1). Positioning and setting of signs

The location and setting of all traffic signs should meet the requirements of the drawings, and the installed signs should be almost at right angles to the traffic flow direction. In curved sections, the setting angle of signs should be determined by the approaching direction of traffic flow. In order to eliminate the glare on the surface of the roadside sign, the sign should be rotated backward by about15 to # avoid the direct beam of the headlight; The longitudinal axis of the gantry sign should be inclined backwards at an angle; For roadside signs, the inner edge of the sign plate shall not be less than 250 mm from the edge of the shoulder, or determined according to the instructions of the supervision engineer.

foundation

Sign foundation can be cast or prefabricated on site, and then buried according to this specification. The determination of foundation position, equipment for excavating and pouring concrete formwork and anchor bolts shall be approved by the supervision engineer before construction.

(3). Sign support structure

(1) The installation of roadside signs shall be carried out according to Article 13.6.

(2) The steel supporting structure shall be manufactured and installed according to this specification and Road Traffic Signs and Marking (GB5768- 1999).

(3) The supporting structure with tubular or hollow cross section shall be equipped with a rain cap approved by the supervision engineer.

(4) Drilling, punching and workshop welding shall be completed before steel electroplating. The connectors and accessories provided shall be suitable for the sign installation system and meet the requirements of Appendix E of Road Traffic Signs and Lines (GB5768- 1999).

(5) The Contractor shall submit the detailed information of the installation system recommended by him to the Supervision Engineer for approval. During installation, the signboard should be properly supported and reinforced, and its surface should be protected from damage.

(6) After the strength of foundation concrete meets the requirements and is approved by the supervision engineer, the installation of sign supporting structure can be carried out. In the whole installation process of the gantry sign structure, the bridge crane should be used as a tool, and the construction personnel should not work on the gantry beam. The pre-arching of the beam should be done before installation, and the pre-arching in the middle of the beam is generally 50 mm The pre-arching of the cantilever sign is 40 mm

After the support structure of gantry and cantilever sign is completed, high-strength reflective film should be pasted on the traffic flow surface of the column as elevation sign according to the requirements of drawings.

(6) All steel products in contact with aluminum alloy or other metals in the sign shall be protected to avoid corrosion of steel or aluminum alloy, and the protection measures shall be approved by the supervision engineer.

Manufacture and installation of signboards

(1) Manufacture of logo surface

A. the shape, pattern and color of traffic signs shall strictly comply with the requirements of road traffic signs and markings (GB5768- 1999) and drawings. Chinese characters, hanyu pinyin and English characters on all signs. Arabic numerals shall conform to the provisions of Road Traffic Signs and Lines (GB5768- 1999), and no other fonts shall be used.

B the layout of patterns and characters on traffic signs shall be sampled three months before construction and submitted to the supervision engineer for approval. The grade of total reflection, partial reflection and reflective film for signs shall meet the requirements of drawings.

C. Manual operation or solvent activation of the adhesive is not allowed when sticking the reflective film. The outermost layer of the logo surface can be coated with protective layer and transparent paint.

D. reflective films should be spliced as little as possible. When seams inevitably appear after the reflective film is pasted, the maximum width of the reflective film product should be used for splicing, and the seams are mainly overlapped. When roller sticking or screen printing is needed, butt joint can be performed, and the gap should not exceed 50mm of the edge of the 1mm signboard, and there can be no splicing.

E. When the logo pattern is spliced with the reflective film, there should be an overlap of 36 mm at the splicing position. If the supervision engineer agrees to adopt butt joint, the joint gap shall not be greater than 0.8 mm. The reflective film shall be stuck on the surface of the extruded profile and extend to 0.8 mm of the minimum length of the upper and lower edges, and shall be tightly stuck on the upper and lower edges.

(2) The sign board shall be cut or cut in the workshop to produce neat and burr-free square edges, and reinforced according to Appendix E of Road Traffic Signs and Marking (GB5768- 1999). The channel steel of all sign plates shall be welded before the directional reflective film is pasted.

(3) The contractor shall first provide the layout drawings of various signs and patterns on the board, and make the patterns with the consent of the supervision engineer.

(4) The directional reflective film shall be stuck with a thermally active adhesive that will not fall off, and the reflective film shall be firmly stuck on the sign board, and its surface shall not produce defects such as bubbles and dirt.

(5) The transportation, storage and handling of the sign board shall be carried out according to the requirements of the manufacturer, and the adjacent surfaces of two signs shall be separated by suitable padding materials to avoid wearing the sign board during transportation and handling. Signs should be stored in a clean and dry room.

(6) When installing the sign board, it should be approved by the supervision engineer in advance, and the fastening method of the sign should meet the requirements of the drawings.

(7) After the sign is installed, the contractor shall clean all sign boards according to the method suggested by the sign manufacturer. In the process of cleaning, the surface of the sign should not be damaged or have other defects.

(8) After the installation of signs is completed, the supervision engineer shall check all signs during the day and night to confirm whether the appearance, visibility, color and mirror glare of the signs meet the requirements of the drawings.

According to the instructions of the supervision engineer, the contractor shall correct or replace any defects found in the sign inspection at his own expense.

Milestones, 100 meter piles and road boundary pillars

(1) According to Road Traffic Signs and Marking (GB5768- 1999) and drawings, make and set mileage signs, road boundary markers, survey signs, safety signs, fixtures and other signs, and accurately locate them as shown in the drawings and instructed by the supervision engineer.

(2) The prefabrication and strength requirements of concrete components such as mileage markers and highway boundary markers shall meet the requirements of drawings and the provisions of Section 4 10 and Section 403 of this specification.

(3) Unless otherwise specified in the drawings or instructed by the Supervision Engineer, all prefabricated components shall be painted according to the requirements of Road Traffic Signs and Marking (GB5768- 1999), and the paint shall meet the requirements of Article 602.02-4 of this specification.
