Chengdu Beauty Expo was founded in 1997 by Cui Hongbo, executive president of Sichuan Beauty and Hairdressing Industry Chamber of Commerce, also known as Chengdu Beauty and Hairdressing Cosmetics Festival, Chengdu Beauty and Hairdressing Expo and Chengdu Beauty and Hairdressing Festival. This is the first and largest beauty fair in the western region.

Organizer: Chengdu Beauty Expo is jointly sponsored by West American Exhibition (Chengdu) Enterprise, Sichuan Beauty Salon Industry Chamber of Commerce, Asian Beauty Salon Cosmetics Association, Korean Beauty Industry Association, Sichuan Cosmetics Chamber of Commerce, Sichuan Beauty Plastic Surgery Association and Chengdu Beauty Salon Association.

Chengdu Beauty and Hairdressing Festival started from 1997. 18 has been successfully held for 30 sessions, with an exhibition area of over 25,000 square meters.
