(8) Other behaviors that affect the functions of urban road traffic safety facilities. Article 9 prohibits the following acts of damaging urban road traffic safety facilities:

(3) Painting or destroying traffic signs and markings;

(4) Unauthorized digging of underground pipelines attached to traffic safety facilities;

Article 11 A necessary distance must be maintained between trees and traffic safety facilities within urban roads. When natural growth affects the function of traffic safety facilities, the public security and traffic management department shall prune it after consultation with the city gardening department.

When trees on city-wide highways affect the function of traffic safety facilities, they must be pruned according to regulations after obtaining the consent of the traffic management department.
