What is Huandao Road?

Huandao Road is the main track of the Xiamen International Marathon and is known as the most beautiful marathon track in the world. The greenery on the roadside is the music score of "The Waves of Gulangyu Island". There is also a marathon statue on the roadside, and there is also a red road. This section of the road is only accessible to pedestrians. Cycling around the island ring road, listening to the waves and the gentle sea breeze is also a pleasure. The nearby Yefeng Village and Huli Mountain Fort are both good places to visit.

Huandao Road has a total length of 31 kilometers, a road width of 44 to 60 meters, a two-way 6-lane road, and a green belt of 80 to 100 meters. It is one of the main scenic tourist roads around the sea in Xiamen. The construction of Huandao Road has always adhered to the purpose of "facing the sea and leaving the most beautiful beaches to the people". Some are close to mountains and seas, some are bridges over the sea, and some are drilled through rocks. The construction starting point is high and the standards are strict. It fully reflects the characteristics of subtropical scenery. Nearly 470,000 square meters of greening, sketches, etc. fully reflect the subtropical scenery and Xiamen characteristics, forming a road integrating tourism, leisure and entertainment

Marina Corridor. What is displayed in front of people is a beautiful picture of blue sky, sea, beach, green space and flowers blooming in all seasons. The road around the island will be designed based on the existing landforms, seaside beaches and historical context, starting from the concept of "people, nature, and ecology", and will be designed in up and down sections, leaving 50-150 meters of landscape separation zones and windbreaks in the middle and on both sides. . The road follows the slope, forming an ecological road that combines primitiveness and modernity, development and protection. At the same time, with the completion of the Zhongzhaiwan Bridge, the originally quiet northeastern part of Xiamen Island will emerge with a magnificent landscape of a bright moon and rising tide. At present, Zengcuo'an Comprehensive Service Center, Huangcuo Tourism Service Center and Qianpu Convention and Exhibition Center have been formed. The entire road is natural and fresh, elegant and beautiful. In 2000, "Eastern Sea View" was rated as one of the New Twenty Scenic Spots in Xiamen. Among them, the section of coast from Xiamen University to Qianpu is about 9 kilometers long and is called the golden coastline. It is a seaside green promenade integrating tourism, sightseeing, leisure and entertainment.
