Transfer of intellectual property rights

Organizing Committee of the 22nd Olympic Games (hereinafter referred to as BOCOG):

This institution/individual (hereinafter referred to as "the individual") makes the following statement to BOCOG on the premise of fully understanding and voluntarily accepting the solicitation for medal design activities (hereinafter referred to as "the solicitation") and all its attachments:

Article 1 I guarantee that the application scheme submitted to BOCOG for the design solicitation of medals for the XX Beijing Olympic Games (hereinafter referred to as the "Olympic Games") will be independently completed by others. The owner has complete, complete and exclusive copyright on the application scheme. I guarantee that I have not used or authorized any third party to use or develop the application scheme in any form worldwide.

Article 2 From the date of signing this letter, the person irrevocably and exclusively transfers all his copyright in the bidding scheme and all his rights in all graphics or three-dimensional representations of the bidding scheme to BOCOG (including his legal successor, the same below) in the ways and means permitted by world laws.

Article 3 The copyright owner promises to give up all his moral rights in the copyright of the application scheme, including but not limited to the right of signature and the right to protect the integrity of the work. When BOCOG requests the applicant or a third party designated by BOCOG to modify the application scheme, the applicant has no right to interfere with the above modification or make any request to BOCOG or the third party, and cooperate with relevant modification work according to BOCOG's requirements.

Article 4 The applicant agrees that if the application scheme is finally selected as the medal design scheme, BOCOG has the right to re-create it in any way, including but not limited to written or electronic forms.

Article 5 An individual (or the original author) shall not publish all or part of the contents of the scheme in any form, including but not limited to printed or electronic form (whether including the Olympic rings or other Olympic symbols). Without BOCOG's prior written approval, no one may use this competition or the application plan itself to carry out any form of commercial or non-commercial market development or publicity activities at any time and place.

Article 6 Considering the nature of the solicitation, both parties agree that BOCOG does not need to pay the right transfer fee related to the work or any royalties related to the commercial utilization of the work. No one will ask to share the profits from the commercial use of the application.

Article 7 BOCOG has the right to use, develop, authorize, license or protect the design scheme of the final medal in any form, without interference or restriction from the owner, the original author or any third party. The above activities can be carried out for any carrier (including those unknown in the current cognitive field), and can also be carried out in any way including but not limited to written or electronic forms. People have no right to claim any special rights or share any rights and interests that BOCOG has gained as a result of the above actions.
