Interventional treatment of cardiovascular diseases is an important part of interventional cardiology. In the past, interventional cardiology was mainly about diagnosis. Due to the rapid development of medical imaging in recent years, most diagnoses have been made by non-invasive imaging technology. Instead, interventional cardiology has become increasingly focused on the therapeutic component.
