Xuyong county, known as Yongning in ancient times, is a county under the jurisdiction of Luzhou City, Sichuan Province, People's Republic of China (PRC). Xuyong county is located in the southern margin of Sichuan Basin, at the northern end of Yunnan-Guizhou Plateau, at the junction of Sichuan, Yunnan and Guizhou provinces. It has a long history and belonged to Yelang State during the Spring and Autumn Period and the Warring States Period.
