Beijing Grand View Garden is a famous cultural garden, which reproduces the "Grand View Garden" in the classic Chinese literature A Dream of Red Mansions. It was designed and built by experts and scholars in redology, ancient architecture, gardens, Qing history and folk customs. Founded in 1984, 1986 was partially opened to the outside world, and 1989 was fully opened. Located on the bank of the moat of Nancaiyuan Garden in Xicheng District, Beijing, the original site was the Royal Garden of Ming and Qing Dynasties, where the "Jiashu Department" was established in the Ming Dynasty. The whole park covers an area of 12.5 hectares, with a building area of more than 8,000 square meters, a newly developed water system of 24,000 square meters, a lawn of 500 square meters, more than 30,000 trees planted and 60,000 cubic meters of rocks piled up. The whole park includes 7 garden scenic spots, 3 natural scenic spots, 1 Buddhist temple scenic spot and 1 temple scenic spot, with more than 40 scenic spots.
