The Historical Story of Minjiang River

Minjiang River is a beautiful, clear, vigorous and wide river. Its natural scenery and cultural attractions complement each other, and its tourism resources are extremely rich.

The banks of the Minjiang River are always covered with green mountains and verdant scenery. Jianxi Valley has Wuyishan Scenic Area, a world natural and cultural heritage, and Taining Dajin Lake Tourist Area, a national geological park. Shaxi Valley has Jiangle Yuhua Cave, one of the four famous caves in China, and Yong 'an Taoyuan Cave, a national key scenic spot.

There are other places of interest along the river, such as Nanping Jiufeng Mountain, Yanping Lake, Fuzhou Jinshan Temple, Jiangxin Park, Luoxing Pagoda, Jin'gangtui Rock Rock and Qingzhi Baidong Mountain.

There are many cultural and historical sites in the Minjiang River Basin, such as the ruins of Wangcheng, Kiln Building, Seoul, Song Kiln and the grand Ming and Qing Dynasties.

In this water area, Neo-Confucianism Zhu, poet Bai Yi Liu Yong, Song Ci, the originator of forensic medicine, Lin Zexu, the originator of smoking ban in Humen, Li Gang, a famous anti-Jin minister, Jiuyin, mathematician Chen Jingrun and literary master Bing Xin were born.
