After I read "Bronze Sunflower" by the children's literature writer Cao Wenxuan in one breath under the lamp at night, I wrote down a review the next day, and then read it to the students during the morning meeting. Then most of the students bought all three books required to be read this semester, and I knew that what I was doing was right.
2. Guidance methods, teachers are just guides
“It is better to teach a person to fish than to teach him to fish.” Teaching students simple reading methods is the key to doing a good job in reading activities. This semester, I specially gave a reading guidance class in the class. I collected some reading stories of famous people from the Internet and introduced them to the students. I then guided the students to read Lu Xun's famous readings, so that the students understood that they should have choices when reading. Be broad, be good at squeezing time, and be good at thinking, questioning and other principles. On this basis, I combined it with an article to specifically guide students on how to read. The method is as follows:
(1) Tell students to have a self-reading outline in mind when reading: For example
①What did you think of when you saw the title?
②What did you know after reading? What else do you want to know? ③What questions do you still don’t understand? Students are required to be aware of everything.
(2) Then focus on strengthening the method of "no writing and no reading":
① Circle and outline. That is, use relevant symbols to record your insights and feelings while reading in the book. Either love, hate, doubt, or think.
②Make comments. That is, write your own opinions and feelings next to the article. You can comment on the exquisite choice of words and sentences, write down your own understanding, experience and feelings, and talk about different views on the same issue or the associations caused by it.
Every effort must be rewarded. This semester, although there are not many quantifiable results for the students in my class, Hugo said: "Books are tools to transform the soul." Indeed, good books are like good life textbooks.
It can teach people how to be an upright person. I believe that as time goes by, as long as my students can, under my guidance, become fond of reading, like thinking, and learn how to behave, this will , perhaps their biggest gain after studying. ;
