Instructions for borrowing and returning books

1. Teachers and students of Beijing Forestry University borrow books and periodicals with their own library cards (anyone who borrows books with someone else's library card will be detained by the library for two months).

I. Term of loan

Chinese books can be borrowed for 30 days (see article 3, paragraph 2, for winter and summer vacations). Books in foreign languages and periodicals in Chinese and foreign languages are not lent out in principle.

1. If the book return day is a holiday, it can be postponed to the first day after the opening of the library, and the book will be overdue from the second day.

Books borrowed within two weeks before winter and summer vacations can be returned within the first week after school starts. If the book is not returned within one week, it will be overdue from the first day of school. All books borrowed more than two weeks before the winter and summer vacations should be returned before the holidays, otherwise they will be overdue.

3. Long-term travelers should pay the fees for clearing books and periodicals before going on a business trip. If the books and periodicals used for going out cannot be returned on time, the reader department will issue a certificate to return the books within one week after returning to school, and will be punished according to the expiration time if it fails.

Provisions on compensation for lost and defaced books and periodicals

Books and periodicals in the library are state-owned assets and the material basis of teaching and scientific research. Readers should keep it properly when borrowing, and keep it properly to prevent it from being lost. No marking, marking, scribbling or smearing on books and periodicals, and no book cutting.

3. If books and periodicals need to be disassembled for copying and photographing due to teaching and scientific research, the consent of the library should be obtained in advance before use.

Reading room rules

The reading room of the library is equipped with open-shelf auxiliary stacks, which is an important place for teachers and students to learn. Readers who enter the room to read consciously abide by the following rules:
