The Yunnan Zhejiang Chamber of Commerce is a provincial, non-profit social organization established on December 26, 2001 under the unified guidance and coordination of the functional departments of the Yunnan and Zhejiang provincial governments. It is the earliest established company among the Zhejiang Chamber of Commerce (Federation) in the city. Under the cordial care of government departments and leaders at all levels in Yunnan and Zhejiang provinces, under the leadership of previous chamber of commerce leadership teams, and with the efforts of all members, the chamber of commerce has continued to develop and grow. On April 13, 2013, the Chamber of Commerce successfully completed the reelection work and elected the fourth leadership team with Zhang Jinluo as president.

The party building work of the Chamber of Commerce has continued to reach a new level, and now it has become a party committee with 2 general party branches and 9 party branches. Zhejiang enterprises have invested a total of more than 200 billion yuan in Yunnan, providing employment to millions of people in Yunnan, and paying more than 1 billion yuan in various taxes and profits every year, becoming an important force in stimulating Yunnan's economy and increasing local fiscal and tax revenue. According to data from the Yunnan Provincial Bureau of Statistics, the actual funds invested by Zhejiang businessmen in Yunnan were 9.582 billion yuan in 2008, 12.57 billion yuan in 2009, and 23.79 billion yuan in 2010. The amount of investment in Yunnan has maintained high growth for many years. While investing in entrepreneurship, the majority of Zhejiang businessmen have not forgotten to repay the society and actively donated money and materials to local education, people in disaster areas, and various public welfare funds, which has had a wide range of social impacts. According to incomplete statistics, member companies have donated more than 90 million yuan to social welfare undertakings and Guangcai undertakings, making positive contributions to building a harmonious society and receiving widespread praise from leaders at all levels and local people.
