How to carry out the friendship activities of two overseas Chinese homes

The "Home of Overseas Chinese" is an important position and support to directly contact and serve the vast number of overseas Chinese, and it is also an important carrier to activate the work of overseas Chinese Federation at the grassroots level. At present, there is only one listed "Home for Overseas Chinese" in Zhenjiang City, which is jointly operated by the Overseas Chinese Affairs Office and the Overseas Chinese Federation, managed by special personnel and paid by the municipal finance. Under the jurisdiction of Jurong, Runzhou, Dantu and other urban areas, some "overseas Chinese homes" have been established or added by relying on the comprehensive services of streets and communities respectively. The main problems existing in the operation of "Overseas Chinese Home" are as follows: First, the number of "Overseas Chinese Home" is small. There are 6 overseas Chinese federations in the city and 2 overseas Chinese federations in colleges and universities in the town, but the grassroots activities of the overseas Chinese community are obviously insufficient; Second, the "Home of Overseas Chinese" is not attractive enough, and the activities can not meet the requirements of the overseas Chinese community for fine, layered and environmental activities; Third, the "Home of Overseas Chinese" relies on overseas Chinese Federation cadres to organize activities, but the energy and professional level of overseas Chinese Federation cadres are limited; Fourth, the role of "hometown of overseas Chinese" as a window of foreign exchange and expanding the influence of overseas Chinese is still not obvious.

In order to further implement the requirements of the Guiding Opinions of the China Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese on Strengthening the Construction of Grassroots Returned Overseas Chinese and Their Families in the New Era, in March and April this year, leaders of the Municipal Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese led a team to visit the grassroots returned overseas Chinese and the overseas Chinese community to listen to their opinions and suggestions on how to strengthen the construction of the "Home of Overseas Chinese" and held a special meeting to seriously discuss the construction of grass-roots returned overseas Chinese activity positions. In July, combined with the actual construction of overseas Chinese family in our city, the Municipal Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese held an on-site meeting on the construction of overseas Chinese family and issued the Implementation Plan of Zhenjiang Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese on the Construction of Micro Overseas Chinese Family, insisting on problem-oriented and innovative forms, and promoting the construction of overseas Chinese family with the construction of micro overseas Chinese family as the starting point.
