Guizhou minority college entrance examination policies are as follows:

Among them, the martyrs' children candidates, plus 20 points; During the service period, 20 points will be added for veterans who have won second-class merit or been awarded honorary titles by units above the theater (former military region); Candidates who are self-employed retired soldiers, plus 10; Returned overseas Chinese, overseas Chinese children, returned overseas Chinese children and Taiwan Province provincial candidates (including Taiwan Province household registration candidates), add 5 points.

The bonus points of minority candidates are adjusted according to the principle of "gradually reducing bonus points, accurately determining bonus points and implementing them step by step".

The implementation measures stipulate that the newly divided bonus areas for minority candidates are divided into Class I areas, Class II areas and Class III areas. Ethnic minority candidates who meet the conditions of "three unifications" will be gradually reduced by regions and stages:

In 2022-2023, the first-class area will be 5 points, the second-class area 10, and the third-class area 15.

In 2024-2025, the first category will not get extra points, the second category will get 5 points, and the third category will get 10 points.

From 2026, the first and second categories will no longer be awarded points, and the third category will retain five bonus points.

Among them, "three unifications" means that candidates' household registration, student status and actual place of study within the prescribed time limit are in the same area, that is, candidates' three-year household registration in high school, three-year complete student status and three-year actual place of study should be in the same county (city, district, special zone) in Guizhou Province.
