Australian Federal Police Expert Response Team

Australia, called the Commonwealth of Australia, is a capitalist country and the most economically developed country in the southern hemisphere.

The Australian Federal Police is responsible for the national police work, undertaking tasks such as national homeland security, preventing and combating major crimes, anti-terrorism cooperation and information exchange.

The Australian Federal Police Expert Response Team (SRS), as a special police team under the Federal Police, was established in July 20 12, with its headquarters in Canberra. SPG consists of seven teams, including tactical action brigade, protection support team, negotiation team, intelligence team, rescue and bomb disposal team, police equipment depot and police dog team, whose main tasks are to undertake domestic anti-terrorism, law enforcement, emergency rescue and bomb disposal tasks. It can directly support the police to deal with tactical actions in high-risk events, and provide intelligence support, patrol with dogs, and participate in dealing with siege, hostage-taking and armed crimes; Conduct on-site negotiations in high-risk and emergency situations.

High-risk search and arrest of armed and dangerous criminals; Escort high-risk prisoners; Providing military support for major police operations; Implement emergency rescue and bomb disposal operations; Dealing with terrorist and hostage-taking incidents; Guarding politicians and state leaders at home and abroad; Provide weapons and ammunition support to the police.

Although the division of functions is different, the tactical action brigade is the most prominent in SPG, which mainly solves the premeditated and unexpected events with medium and high risks. It can quickly deploy police forces in times of crisis, provide key assistance, help the police restore law and order, carry out emergency rescue in disasters, and provide police force construction plans. It is the pillar of SPG.

In recent years, SPG has been involved in dealing with the safety and emergency rescue of emergencies and large-scale events for many times, including dealing with the siege of Kanga government building in 1993, avalanche rescue in Sladebao Ski Resort in 1997, the arrest of Anthony perris, the leader of criminal groups in 2009, the arrest of murder suspect Naden who escaped in 20 12, and 20665555.
