Article 5 Motor vehicle drivers who apply to participate in traffic safety education and reducing traffic violation scorepoints shall take part in relevant road traffic safety laws, regulations and related knowledge studies, examinations or traffic safety public welfare activities according to their maximum driving license. Article 2 Motor vehicle drivers who have participated in the study of road traffic safety laws, regulations and related knowledge organized by the traffic administrative department of the public security organ and passed the examination, or who have participated in traffic safety public welfare activities in the place where the motor vehicle driver's license is issued and met the relevant requirements, may apply for the reduction or exemption of traffic violation points. Article 6 Motorists can take part in the online study of road traffic safety laws, regulations and related knowledge on the Internet learning and examination platform of the traffic management department of the public security organ and apply for the examination, or take part in the on-site study of road traffic safety laws, regulations and related knowledge at the traffic management department of the public security organ and apply for the examination. Article 3 The traffic administrative department of the public security organ shall organize and carry out the work of motor vehicle drivers receiving traffic safety education to reduce or exempt traffic violation points, and shall follow the principles of legality, standardization, openness and fairness, and shall not charge any fees.
