What should I do if the new traffic law changes the color of the car?

If the car changes color, it needs to go to the vehicle management office to register the change of motor vehicle, and it needs to carry the identity certificate of the owner of the motor vehicle when registering the change; Motor vehicle registration certificate; Motor vehicle driving license and other materials.

To apply for change of registration according to Article 11 of the Regulations on Motor Vehicle Registration, the owner of the motor vehicle shall fill in the application form, submit the motor vehicle for inspection, and submit the following documents and vouchers:

(a) the identity certificate of the owner of the motor vehicle;

(2) Motor vehicle registration certificate;

(3) Motor vehicle driving license;

(four) to replace the engine, body or frame, it shall also submit the certificate of motor vehicle safety and technical inspection;

(5) If the whole vehicle is replaced due to quality problems, the certificate of motor vehicle safety and technical inspection shall also be submitted, except for motor vehicles imported by the customs and motor vehicles exempted from inspection as determined by the competent department of motor vehicle products in the State Council.

The vehicle management office shall, within one day from the date of acceptance, confirm the motor vehicle, review the submitted documents and vouchers, endorse the changes in the motor vehicle registration certificate, recover the driving license and reissue the driving license.

The vehicle management office shall check the rubbing film of the vehicle identification code when handling the alteration registration items specified in Items (3), (4) and (6) of Paragraph 1 of Article 10 of these Provisions.

Article 10 of the Regulations on Motor Vehicle Registration If a registered motor vehicle is under any of the following circumstances, the owner of the motor vehicle shall apply to the vehicle management office for change of registration:

(1) changing the color of the car body;

(2) Replace the engine;

(3) replace the car body or frame;

(4) Replacing the whole vehicle due to quality problems;

(five) the nature of the use of operating motor vehicles to non-operating motor vehicles or non-operating motor vehicles to operating motor vehicles has changed;

(six) the motor vehicle owner's household registration moved out or moved into the jurisdiction of the vehicle management office.
