Standing in front of the grave of martyr Tang Yicen, I seemed to have gone back in time. . . In the 33rd year of Jiajing's reign, Japanese pirates invaded, and I heard killing cries that shook the sky. Japanese pirates have repeatedly harassed Chongming County, killing people, setting fires, and robbing property. The people of Chongming have suffered greatly, and they hate them to the core. I am also angry. Tang Yicen was appointed as the governor of Chongming County. When he heard about this incident, he quickly built fortifications, trained the people, and took a series of measures to actively prevent harassment by Japanese pirates. He also mobilized and organized the entire county's military and civilians to personally lead the battle and work together to fight against the repeated invasions of Japanese pirates. It made me feel happy again. Later, the traitors colluded with the Japanese pirates inside and outside, and destroyed the county. I saw Tang Yicen furious, leading the soldiers and civilians to start a street fight with the Japanese pirates.
