Kui Xing Pavilion has a long history and has been weathered by wind and rain for more than a thousand years. By the 1980s, it had become severely tilted and was on the verge of collapse. In 1990, it was repaired and corrected under the leadership of Jiang Yufu, the former mayor of the township. Today, it is not only one of the local scenic spots, but also a well-protected ancient pavilion of interest in northern Sichuan. The Yuanba District People's Government announced it as a district (county) level cultural relics protection unit on August 25, 1997.
