What are the auspicious customs of feng shui that must be known when moving to a new home?

Moving into a new house or building a new house means that a family is about to start living in a new environment, so the related ceremonies and the time of entering the house may affect the good or bad life in the future. Therefore, choosing a good auspicious time and paying attention to some matters in advance will mean a good start and bring good luck to the family.

Xinju celebration

Whether building a new house in one's own home or buying a new house, there is usually a ceremony or banquet to wish the owner of the new house a safe, smooth and auspicious life.

When you move into a new house, you can invite your relatives and friends over to increase the popularity of the new house. Don't get angry and swear during this period, otherwise there will be taboos and everyone will be very happy together.

After entering a new house, you usually have to open a stove, or "fire". If there are no celebrations due to conditions, the master operator here has a simple method to introduce you: first, choose an auspicious day of the zodiac, and then boil a pot of water in the new house, but be sure to pay attention to the fact that the water must be boiled for five minutes, so that even if the fire has started in the new house, it means that you have begun to live a rich life in the new house.

Shangliang miracle

When the house is basically completed, it is necessary to beam, which is also the key moment to fix the beams and columns and the sign that the new house is about to be completed. Therefore, people attach great importance to it and will pray for the blessing of the gods through various customs.

In many areas, auspicious days should be chosen for the beams, and red banners such as "Good luck on the beams, purple stars shining high" should be posted on the beams. Sacrifices, incense and prayers should be placed in front of the beam to worship the family god and pray for the peace and success of the beam.

In some places, a mirror, scissors and other items should be hung on the wall of the room before the beams are placed. They believe that mirrors can illuminate evil and make ghosts and demons show their true colors and lose their mana; At the same time, I believe that sharp scissors can frighten the devil. With these evil spirits, you can work hard and live safely at home.

The most important step in getting on the beam is to get on the beam and lift it. The firecrackers are ringing, the songs are loud and the red flag is fluttering. When lifting beams and columns in the south, artisans sang "Song of Liang Shang", which is called "Song of Liang Shang" in the north. Its contents are different, but they all have auspicious meanings, such as: the first step lasts forever, the first five steps are full of grain, the first six steps are prosperous, the first seven steps are auspicious, the first eight steps are rich in money, and the first nine steps are long-lived. "I sang while carrying the red and green beams on the roof. The bricklayer came down from the roof again, and a plate with coins and steamed bread climbed the ladder again. As he climbed the ladder, he said, "Hold the golden ladder step by step, and sesame blossoms will be higher and higher." Congratulations on my family's wealth for thousands of years and generations to come. "

For example, the host and his wife are opening red brocade in the hall, and the carpenter sings: "A gust of wind brings a burst of fragrance. Congratulations to the owner for building a new house. Let's quickly separate the brocade and bring the gold and silver together! " Throwing coins at the red brocade while singing is called "receiving treasure", which indicates that the owner will be rich and auspicious after moving into the new house.

Throwing beam

The folk custom of "throwing a beam" is popular in China, that is, behind the beam frame, craftsmen or masters stand on the beam and throw steamed bread, cakes, steamed bread, rice cakes and other things off the beam, singing auspicious greetings. It is said that the host family can prosper day by day by throwing a beam, and the guests are lucky to find something to throw a beam.

According to legend, the custom of throwing beams originated from the legend of Jiang Taigong's throne. According to the legend of the gods, all the gods were sealed by Jiang Taigong. Therefore, people think that the gods of all gods are second, and the gods of Jiang Taigong should be on the beam. Therefore, many people wrote a banner "Jiang Taigong is here" and pasted it on the beam, worshiped Jiang Taigong with slings and prayed for his protection.

What emits light beams varies from region to region. Steamed bread is used in most parts of the north. While throwing the beam, the beam thrower said, "Taigong gives you auspicious steamed buns. Children eat for a long time, and old people eat for a long time. The host ate and kept it, and the guests ate and took it away. " So people want to grab steamed bread. In some areas, a piece of Dong cloth is tied to the roof truss, and then a congratulatory message is sung in hand, wishing the descendants of the main family prosperity and become pillars.

Anzhen

In some areas, there is a custom of building houses. A reed without long spikes is about one meter higher than the foundation of the old building. It should be covered with a layer of reed without long spikes cut into about 20 centimeters by a straw cutter, and then pressed with bricks or blanks to continue to build high, which is called "Anzhen". At this time, relatives and friends bring some gifts to congratulate the host, which is called "grabbing candy". The more gifts people give, the more auspicious the owner's house will be, because most of the gifts people give are auspicious products such as money (symbolizing wealth), wine (symbolizing immortality) and cakes (symbolizing rising step by step), which means happiness, treasure and peace are dissolved in a room with candy. I wish the host happiness, wealth and peace after living in the new house.

In addition, there is the custom of "inverted beam". That is, when the beam was built, the neighbors sent wine to congratulate the host. It is said that in the old society, when building a house to a very high place, craftsmen often accidentally fell off the roof, so people sent wine to burn the beams, which was unlucky. For the house god, it was for good luck and safety.

Jizhai

There are many factors that determine the auspicious palace. In the relationship with neighbors, there is a principle that the door is not opposite. In terms of greening, peach willows are planted in the east, gardenia elm is planted in the west, Xing Li is planted in the south, Sophora japonica is planted in the middle door, and the third generation is rich. There are elms behind the house, and ghosts are not close. The principle of the location of the house door is to stay away from (south), smoke (southeast) and town (east).

In the specific layout, it can be divided into inner shape and outer shape. The interior shape of Jizhai House is a quadrangle surrounded on all sides and drilled in the middle. Another house surrounded by pine and bamboo is also an auspicious house. The shape of Jizhai House includes Kundi (southwest) mound, northern mound, dry land (northwest) hill, high sand in front and back, high in the west and low in the east, flat on all sides of Fiona Fang, Tatsumi (southeast) pond, canals around the front and back mountains, long on the left and right, high on all sides, southwest water and so on.

Auspicious houses in towns are also attached according to the principles of dragon, sand, water and cave in Feng Shui theory. Houses are regarded as dragons, streets as water and houses as sand.

Qianhuai

The pod of elm is called Yu Qian, which is homophonic with "surplus money". The pod of Sophora japonica is multi-seeded, and the seed of Sophora japonica is homophonic with "pregnancy". The surplus money and pregnancy are all expected. Therefore, people plant elms in front of the gate and locust trees in the house for good luck. There is a proverb "If you used to plant elms, you will become rich", and there is a locust tree in the middle door.

You should clean the new house before moving into it. When the weather is fine, open the doors and windows for three to five days. The purpose is to let the indoor and outdoor air circulate and let the excellent atmosphere enter the home.

The best time to move into a new house is in the morning, usually before 12 o'clock, and before the sun goes down, try not to move at night, otherwise it will be unlucky. When moving, you can ask friends and relatives for help, but you or your family must move into the new house by yourself, and you can't go in empty-handed without anything. In addition, before moving into a new house, it is also for good luck to choose auspicious days to place items such as stoves or beds.

Before you move into your new house, you can "worship everywhere", which is exquisite and slightly complicated. The master will introduce it in detail in the following article. Worship in all directions is a respect and courtesy for the land god and the eight-way god in their new homes, and only by worshipping God can they be protected.

Evil mirror

The evil mirror is a small square or round mirror that only hangs on the lintel. This custom still exists in many areas. Because the ancients thought that the mirror can use ghosts to show its original shape, therefore, the evil mirror has the function of exorcising and killing demons. When it is considered that there are evil factors in the surrounding environment of the house, it is necessary to hang evil mirrors and turn evil into disaster. This mirror is usually hung in the center of the lintel, near the wall. Traditional geomantic omen believes that the door is one of the vents of the house, so the good or bad of the house is related to the door. Therefore, people often hang all kinds of amulets and statues on their doors, and even hang evil mirrors for good luck. However, this kind of exorcism mirror is generally a convex mirror or a concave mirror, which will be more effective. However, if the ordinary mirror is not used properly, it may also attract the suffocation of the outside world to the home. Therefore, this method should be used with caution, and everyone should pay more attention.

Safe and auspicious map

When building houses in some areas, small banners with the words "Good Road, Good Road, Rich Road and Treasure Road" should be posted on the four pillars on both sides of the hall to pray for prosperity, peace and good luck.

There is a legend here. In ancient times, a carpenter with several apprentices built a new house for a Achang nationality. The master killed a pig to entertain them. The kind master fried the pork liver and pork loin and put them away for the master and apprentice to eat on the way home. But the master and apprentice mistakenly thought it was this stingy family and hid all the delicious food from the craftsman. On the day they erected the pillars, they deliberately turned the four pillars upside down and let the tips touch the ground, hoping to bring bad luck to their owners. Master and apprentice are hungry on the way. When they opened the food package given by their host, they found all the delicious food just now. Master and apprentice feel deeply guilty. The master took out four pieces of red paper from the toolbox, wrote down four auspicious banners, "Dao (inverted) is good, Dao (inverted) is good, Dao (inverted) is rich, Dao (inverted) is expensive", and let the apprentice return to his master's house and put them on four inverted pillars. If the host doesn't understand, please ask others to explain, and then he knows that it means auspicious, safe and rich. We'll talk about it later. The host family is really disaster-free and prosperous, and everyone thinks it is the role of auspicious pictures. Since then, it has become a custom to build a new house and post a safe and auspicious picture, which has been handed down.

Choose an auspicious day

Whether the family zodiac conflicts with the date of moving; Generally, it is dominated by water days, and it is less used in fire days; It's cloudy when the sun is shining, and sunny when the sun is cloudy.

Direction and date

Sit on the east: don't choose from the ugly days; Sitting in the west: don't choose the day when Haimao is not in Sanhe wood bureau; Sitting in the south: the day when the Shensanhe Water Bureau was not selected; Sit north: don't choose the day of the three-in-one fire station.

It is necessary to avoid the four kills and the tribute killing of the plow.

Four kills on the highest day: five lives, ugly days and ugly times; Shen Yisheng, the day has not passed; Hai Mao was not born, when it was five days; I have an ugly life, this is a day.

Turn around and kill: ugly people, four pillars and three words of gold are invisible; Chen Yisheng, there is no gold in the ugly four pillars; If you don't live, you can't see the three-character gold in Shen Sizhu; E, you can't see four pillars and three characters of gold.

Jiang Taigong is here, and everything is forbidden.

Jiang Taigong, Jiang Shang, was a famous soldier when the Western Zhou Dynasty was founded, and later became the embodiment of folk gods and justice. Traditional houses often use Jiang Taigong's name as an overwhelming object, writing or carving on bricks, water, stones and paper. If there is a tall building or street opposite the house, write "Jiang Taigong is here" with a wooden sign and nail it on the wall or above the door frame. In the case of exorcism, write "Jiang Taigong is here and everything is forgiven" on yellow paper. Temporary town symbols are written on paper. If they are permanent, they should be engraved on bricks and built on walls.

Helongkou

Because most people in northern Shaanxi live in caves, the last process of building caves is to "close the mouth", that is, leave a gap in the middle of the kiln roof and put a piece of dragon stone prepared in advance, and the whole new kiln will be built. Sealing the Longkou is as important as the "upper beam" of the building, so the locals pay great attention to some auspicious customs when sealing the Longkou. They also offered sacrifices to the gods in advance to ward off evil spirits and keep peace, so this custom still exists today.

At the same time, the owner of the new cave will put a pair of red chopsticks, a writing brush, an ingot of ink, a yellow calendar, a red cloth bag full of grain, five-color silk thread and so on. Beside the dragon stone, in order to reach the high satellite, all goes well, the grain is abundant and the six livestock are prosperous. When Longshiguan was closed, like throwing beams in other places, food buns, coins, needle bags, food and other things were scattered from the top of the kiln to the crowd, which was called "spreading food buns". It is said that grabbing grain buns will bring rich financial resources and good luck again and again.

Choose a housing base

If they live in mountainous areas, their houses are usually on gentle slopes. Therefore, in addition to the choice of natural geographical conditions, they should also choose the auspicious foundation in their ethnic areas to ensure the safety of their homes. For example, whenever some ethnic minorities are ready to build a new house, they always wrap two packets of rice wine in banana leaves, bury one packet at each end in the selected place according to the length of the house, and dig it out three to five days later. If rice wine tastes sweet, it is considered auspicious and suitable for building a house here. Otherwise, if the wine tastes sour or is eaten by ants, it is considered unlucky and not suitable for building houses.

Another method is to take a piece of bamboo, cut it in half, and mural the number of rooms to be built on a piece of bamboo with charcoal. Then, put two grains of rice in each space, buckle the other half of bamboo, bury it next to the pre-selected homestead in the dead of night, and secretly dig it out at dawn the next day. If the dry rice grains in bamboo are regarded as auspicious and suitable for building a house, while the wet rice grains are fierce and not suitable for building a house, it is necessary to choose another house foundation.

Xin chuan ju qi Xiang

Building a new boat is as happy as building a new house for residents. Therefore, whenever fishermen like to move to a new house, they should celebrate it in a grand way in order to be happy and auspicious.

When moving into a new ship, four strands of red and green silk should be nailed on the ship, which is called "wishful nail"; When the boat was launched, the boat mainly deliberately hid a nail for the carpenter to find. The carpenter said loudly, "the master needs another nail!" " "The master happily took out the nail of happiness, which is said to win goodwill and good luck.

If you look carefully, you will find that in the new cabin, a big red happy character should be pasted, and eight plates of auspicious food should be placed in the cabin, which generally include: Redmi, rice balls, golden ingot cakes, cornucopia and so on. Ten kinds of food, such as carp, pomegranate, evergreen, bamboo shoots, etc. They should be piled in a cornucopia, and all of them must contain auspicious meanings, so as to ensure the safety of ships and the prosperity of people.
