He wrote many works throughout his life, especially the collection of short stories "Strange Stories from a Chinese Studio", whose artistic achievements reached the peak of ancient classical Chinese novel creation and were praised by later generations. There are also "Collected Poems from a Chinese Studio", "Collected Works from a Chinese Studio", etc. Pu Songling was smart and talented, and he was keen on pursuing a career in his youth.
