As a refined management mode, 6S management has been widely adopted by domestic and foreign enterprises. Our company recognized the importance of 6S as early as 2002 and actively promoted it, but due to various reasons, it failed to achieve the expected results. This year, the company strengthened its implementation through solid 6S training and effectively implemented various management measures, which made the implementation of 6S fundamentally different from the past. Great changes have taken place in both software and hardware. So, what changes have 6S brought to us?

First of all, it has brought us a complete change in concept. Before that, there were always some conceptual deviations, thinking that "6S activities are trivial and meaningless" and "Isn't 6S activities just cleaning?" But these incorrect views have been eliminated through this year's training and study. The walls of each workshop are decorated with neat and beautiful 6S billboards, and the warning signs and placards on the walls are conspicuous. Now, people can't help feeling comfortable at the sight of the spacious and bright environment in the workshop. When they start working, they feel relaxed and full of energy. The maintenance progress is fast, the waste is reduced, and the work efficiency is greatly improved.

Fourth, employees' safety awareness and literacy have been significantly enhanced. As we all know, the safety helmet can only play a role in safety protection if it is worn on the head. However, in the past, some people were indifferent to safety awareness and thought that wearing safety helmets was too boring and too hot. They either hold it in their hands or put it beside them. What's more, they use helmets as benches and sit under their asses. Everyone said, can this play a security role? Does this meet the safety requirements? In the past, during the maintenance period, the workshop floor was rarely cleaned for dozens of days, and the environment was messy. Since the launch of the "6S" campaign this year, everyone has assumed the responsibility in the environmental field. Everyone can insist on cleaning every day, and even many people spontaneously go to work early to clean. The phenomenon of not wearing a helmet is gone, the phenomenon of spitting is gone, and the habit of throwing cigarette butts and scraps of paper is gone. Doesn't this explain the improvement of employees' personal quality?

These changes come from everyone's efforts and the implementation of 6S. "Although it is very hard, it feels very warm." I don't know if everyone feels the same way. 6S itself is a management method, not a sport. To do a good job in 6S, we must be prepared for a protracted war. As long as the enterprise exists, 6S management exists.
