Problems related to Chinese pronunciation

This is a tone sandhi problem in modern Chinese.

There are four modes in modern Chinese-flat tone (one tone, 55), rising tone (two tones, 35), rising tone (three tones, 2 14) and falling tone (four tones, 5 1).

Generally speaking, when two three tones (upper tones) are read continuously, the first three tones (upper tones) should be read as two tones (upper tones), and the tone value should be marked as 214+214 = 35+214. Tone sandhi is marked in the dictionary, but it should be changed when speaking. This is the reason why the two words "ghost axe" and "give" are pronounced as rising tones (two sounds) when they are read together.
