There have been new developments in the recent spread of the new coronavirus pneumonia epidemic With the changes, the local epidemic situation in our country has been intertwined with sporadic epidemics and local clusters of epidemics, especially in some areas of our province. Faced with the severe situation of epidemic prevention and control, in order to protect the happiness and health of every family in the county, we must effectively "prevent external imports and prevent internal spread" to avoid epidemic risks caused by crowd gatherings such as weddings and funerals. The County Civil Affairs Bureau issued the following initiatives to the cadres and the masses throughout the county:

1. Promote new arrangements for happy events. During the epidemic prevention and control period, it is recommended that weddings be kept simple or postponed. Wedding organizers must strictly control the number of people participating in wedding banquets in accordance with village and street requirements, advocate wedding activities that only close relatives of both parties can participate, and it is strictly forbidden to invite relatives and friends from outside the county, especially in epidemic areas, to attend wedding banquets. Anyone who causes the spread of the epidemic due to wedding banquet gatherings will be held accountable in accordance with the law. The Marriage Registration Center provides marriage registration services by appointment. Parties who are planning to register their marriage can make an appointment by dialing 0316-7700018. Those who have not made an appointment will not be accepted.

2. Promote simple arrangements for funerals. Actively promote the reform of funeral and interment, advocate the elimination of feudal superstition, civilized and frugal funeral arrangements, and make funeral arrangements simpler, simplify procedures, and reduce the scope. All new deaths in our county will be cremated. The number of people who go to the funeral parlor to cremate the remains must be strictly controlled. The number of relatives entering the funeral service venue for burial must be controlled within 10 people. The accompanying persons waiting outside must be evacuated, keep a distance of more than 1 meter and take personal protection. There is a reporting system in place for funerals. The deceased must report to the town for approval. The number of participants must be strictly controlled and prevention and control measures must be taken. In principle, only close relatives are allowed to participate. It is prohibited to invite relatives and friends outside the county to attend the event. Anyone who gathers for funerals and causes the spread of the epidemic will be held accountable in accordance with the law.

3. Promote civilized sacrifices and sweeps. Consciously abandon uncivilized ways of sweeping, do not burn paper money in urban street corners and other public places, do not sweep with open fires in the wild, do not set off fireworks and firecrackers, and strictly prevent the use of open flames to cause fire accidents. New methods such as online memorial services, flower memorial services, and small-scale family memorials are encouraged to honor and remember ancestors, so as to reduce the risk of infection caused by on-site gatherings for memorial services.

4. Promote collective efforts. All village committees and red and white committees must take active actions to guide village residents on red and white matters, strengthen publicity and education, strengthen service guarantees, use practical actions to solve the worries of the parties and their families, and effectively improve the execution of epidemic prevention and control and resident recognition.

5. Party members and cadres take the lead. Party members and cadres in the county should take the initiative to be practitioners, leaders and propagandists of epidemic prevention and control and changing customs, set an example in civilized and frugal weddings, funerals, and ancestor worship, so as to inspire the masses to delay red events and postpone funerals. Keep things simple, set out fewer tables, attend fewer banquets, control family gatherings, and hold customary activities simply. It is hoped that the cadres and the masses in the county will start from themselves and every family, become advocates and disseminators of civilized style, and support the epidemic prevention and control work with practical actions.
