Visit Jilin University Overseas Alumni Association

On the afternoon of September 1, 2008, Liang, the president of our overseas alumni association, Ma Li, the vice president of the overseas alumni association, and Dong Yu, the former president of the North American alumni association of Jilin University of Technology, who were invited to attend the 4th Northeast Asia Expo, visited their alma mater, and had a discussion and exchange with the responsible comrades of the alumni office and the Education Foundation office at the Dongrong Building Academic Exchange Center.

Liu Xinrong, assistant to the principal and director of the office of the Alumni Association, thanked overseas alumni for actively donating money to Chuansheng, his alma mater, and thanked the overseas alumni association for its contribution to serving overseas alumni, serving his alma mater and developing overseas cooperation for his alma mater over the years. Liu Xinrong informed the alumni about the current life and study of the aided students, and exchanged views on how to further promote the donation work.

Liang and other alumni reported their recent life and work in the United States to their alma mater, introduced the work of overseas alumni associations, and introduced in detail the measures taken by North American universities to carry out alumni work and education foundation work. The two sides expressed their hope to further strengthen ties, enhance the friendship between overseas alumni and their alma mater, and promote the sustainable development of alumni work in their alma mater.
