The Young Hero Lin Senhuo Memorial Hall is located on the campus of Lin Senhuo Primary School, Jiefang South Road, Kanmen Street. Lin Senhuo (1933~1950) was born in Kanmen, Yuhuan. At the age of 9, he entered Kanmen Xitou Primary School. He was diligent and studious, and especially loved painting, woodcarving, and clay sculpture. In April 1947, he was elected as the captain of the Kanmen Young Pioneers. In 1948, he was appointed as the leader of the Kanmen Children's League. In 1949, he was transferred to Kanmen Central Primary School. Influenced by revolutionary ideas, Lin Senhuo took the lead in secretly establishing a red library to circulate progressive books; he participated in the anti-food leakage struggle organized by the underground party and monitored the activities of illegal businessmen day and night; he cooperated with the underground party and militia in delivering intelligence, posting slogans, and distributing leaflets. , transfer military supplies, reconnaissance of enemy situations, send warning letters, etc.

In the early days of the liberation of Yuhuan, he led the children's league members to write and perform theatrical programs to promote the party's policies. When the Kuomintang troops continued to harass Kanmen, he cooperated with the militiamen to stand guard, serving as guides for the troops, delivering food and tea, and passing on intelligence. On April 30, 1950, he joined the New Democratic Youth League of China. On November 20, the Kuomintang army attacked the county town and Kanmen in separate groups. He helped the People's Liberation Army cooking class boil water for cooking. Unfortunately, he was shot and died. He was only 17 years old. Ding Shixiang, then secretary of the Yuhuan County Party Committee of the Communist Party of China, led the people of the county to hold a grand memorial meeting for Lin Senhuo. The Yuhuan County Committee of the New Democratic Youth League of China called on young people in the county to learn from Lin Senhuo. Lin Senhuo's deeds were included in the primary school textbooks at that time. On February 5, 1983, he was approved as a revolutionary martyr by the Ministry of Civil Affairs.

In September 1998, Zhejiang TV Station filmed the TV series "The Sea and the Boy" which reflected Lin Senhuo's heroic deeds. In the 1950s, the Kanmen District Central Primary School (originally located in Yanxia Hall at the northern foot of Diaofang Mountain) established the Young Hero Lin Senhuo Memorial Room. In October 1987, Kang Keqing, chairman of the All-China Women's Federation, inscribed an inscription on the statue of young hero Lin Senhuo. In 1995, it was expanded again and the memorial room was changed into a memorial hall.
