Mochou Lake, the first scene in Jinling, is a children's paradise and a lotus garden in winter.

Mochou Lake in Nanjing is the second largest lake in the city after Xuanwu Lake. It is rich in historical and cultural heritage, and romantic talents of past dynasties wandered in it and wrote countless poems, making Mochou Lake the first scenic spot in Jinling, the first lake in Nanjing and the crown of 40 scenic spots in Jinling.

Now Mochou Lake Park has been opened as a 4A-level scenic spot with pavilions and ups and downs. Bridge cloister, winding path leading to a secluded place; Shaded by pine and bamboo, rocks stand tall. The main landscapes in the scenic area include Shengqi Building, Huayan Temple, Yu Jintang, Su Hexiang, Mochow Shui Yuan, Qiwen Pavilion, the Tomb of the Soldiers of Guangdong Army and Bao Yue Building. It is a good place for Nanjing literati gathering and citizens to have fun.

Things change, and the earth circulates. Before the Southern Song Dynasty, Mochou Lake was located in Ludao in the Yangtze River, and the stone inscription in Li Bai's famous poem "On Going to Nanjing and the Phoenix Tower" said: "Three mountains and a half fall outside the sky, like this egret is divided into Dao Jiang" is here (not today's Ludao Park). After that, the Yangtze River diverted and moved northward, leaving a large area of swamps and lakes. Mochou Lake is the largest lake.

In the Southern Dynasties, Liang Wudi Xiao Yan's Song of the River tells the story of Mo Chounv's diligence, beauty and helpfulness, which made the lake famous all over the world. This park, named after Mo Chounv and inherited from Mochow Culture, has brought many historical allusions and legends to Nanjing. Famous figures in history, such as Li Bai, Zhu Yuanzhang, Xu Da, Ceng Guoquan and Sun Yat-sen, have visited Nanjing. After the founding of People's Republic of China (PRC), it has received many party and state leaders; Former Japanese Prime Minister Haruki Murakami and other international friends have also visited here.

I came to visit in June, 165438+ 10, and I didn't write my travel notes at that time. Now the epidemic situation is not optimistic, and my restless heart has been suppressed. I haven't been out for more than half a month, just to catch up on this travel note.

I entered from the north gate, and after entering the door, I saw chrysanthemum bonsai on both sides of the road, some dignified as a lady, noble and elegant, some beautiful as a girl, fresh and lovely; Some are as charming as young women. These chrysanthemums sway gracefully in the winter wind, emitting a faint fragrance, touching people's hearts and bringing an elegant and fragrant atmosphere to tourists.

Walking along the path near the White Wall and the Yamato Wall, I saw a children's paradise. There are many tourists here. On Sundays, many parents bring their children here to play. The children climbed up and down in the paradise, ran over and drilled around, and had a good time. Mom and dad are lovingly guarding it, which is a harmonious and warm scene.

After walking about 100 meters, I came to Mochou Lake. In the warm sun, weeping willows on the lake caress the water surface against the winter wind, which has a unique charm. In the cold wind, weeping willows are still so green, just slightly yellow.

I walk clockwise. To the north of the lake is the lotus garden. I saw a lotus root, the lotus leaf was broken, and the lotus root stem still stood firm in the cold water. Several maple trees on the lake are as red as wildfire, shining in the sun and shining with the light blue sky.

There is a heart-shaped artificial pool next to the lotus garden, with a lotus sculpture on it, which has a strong three-dimensional sense and vividly shows the expressions of lotus, lotus leaf and lotus seed. I wonder why we don't use emerald green instead of bronze to show the beauty of lotus leaves.

From a distance, the lotus garden is a colorful ink painting, just like an overturned paint tray. I saw several willow branches falling, a red leaf dancing with the wind, the lotus still broken and strong, and the banana beautiful and charming.

An old man who may be a fan of ink painting sat quietly by the lake, describing the scenery he saw. I secretly enjoyed it quietly behind him for a while and compared his watercolor painting with the scene. The picture is really realistic. I guess he is an artist.
