Eight tones in Anpu, Zhanjiang, Guangdong

Anpu Bayin is an ancient folk music popular in Anpu Town, Lianjiang City, Zhanjiang City, Guangdong Province, with a history of 100 years. "Eight Tones" is the general name of ancient musical instruments in China. There are different forms of performances everywhere. Li Yuanming, a music lover in Anpu, reformed and innovated the ancient "Eight Tones" and adopted local national musical instruments: 65,438+0 sets of chimes and cymbals in Gao Hu, 65,438+0 sets of small hook gongs, wooden fish, clear pots, sand boards and drums, and 65,438+0 sets of horizontal flutes, Dong flutes and drums. Bayin team consists of 22 people, all of whom were literati or music lovers at that time. They usually practice themselves and perform at Lantern Festival and Dragon Boat Festival. During the tour, everyone holds 1 musical instrument and marches in line. Everyone is dressed in a gown and jacket, well dressed. The stereo player goes first, followed by the flute player. All kinds of musical instruments are decorated with ribbons, ribbons and pompoms, which are colorful and spectacular. I walked slowly and gracefully in the parade. After Li's death, Qihe succeeded to the throne. After the death of Qi and Huang, Li Kangquan and others inherited it without interruption, and it has been passed down to this day and is deeply loved by local people. With the increasing number of music lovers in Anpu Town, since the spring of 1993, two music teams have been established here. A team named "Anpu Folk Quyi Club" has 38 people. The chairman is Mai Yishou and the vice chairman is Lu He Lin Kangtai. They rehearse in Lu's home for two or three nights every week. After Lu's death, he is now transferred to the cultural station for rehearsal. The other team is Ampu Amateur Art Association, with Qiu Fa as its chairman and Qiu De and Huang Zhenguang as its vice-chairmen. There are 24 members, including 6 women, who usually study intensively on Saturdays and Sundays.

1994, the Bayin Team of Anpu Town was invited to attend the art evening in Lianjiang City to celebrate the 45th anniversary of the founding of People's Republic of China (PRC).
