Punishment for illegally posting advertisements

Legal analysis: The penalties for illegal advertising are generally warnings and fines. Posting small advertisements and other publicity materials on urban buildings, facilities and trees without approval violates the Regulations on the Administration of City Appearance and Environmental Sanitation. Outdoor advertisements, placards, galleries, windows, etc. should be healthy in content and beautiful in appearance, and should be regularly maintained, decorated or removed. The establishment of large-scale outdoor advertisements must be approved by the administrative department of city appearance and environmental sanitation of the people's government of the city, and the examination and approval procedures shall be handled in accordance with the relevant provisions.

Legal basis: Article 36 of the Regulations on the Administration of City Appearance and Environmental Sanitation commits one of the following acts, the administrative department of city appearance and environmental sanitation of the people's government of the city or the unit entrusted by it shall order it to stop the illegal act, clean it up, dismantle it or take other remedial measures within a time limit, and may also impose a fine:

(a) without the consent of the administrative department of city appearance and environmental sanitation of the city people's government, setting up large-scale outdoor advertisements without authorization, which affects the city appearance;

(two) without the approval of the administrative department of city appearance and environmental sanitation of the people's Government of the city, stacking materials on both sides of the street and public places without authorization, and erecting buildings, structures or other facilities, which will affect the city appearance;

(3) Dismantling environmental sanitation facilities without approval or failing to carry out demolition according to the approved demolition plan.
