Now we see another girl being violated, which once again makes us feel deeply angry but powerless. Even though we are both men, I look down on these scum.

So, I think we, as parents, must strengthen the safety awareness of our children, especially girls, in our daily lives, so as to effectively prevent children from being violated.

Stay with your children

I still remember the horrific incident last year when an 11-year-old girl was collectively abused by villagers in Yulin City, Guangxi Province, which is very close to me. For those people in their seventies or eighties who can still do such cruel and inhumane things, I can only say that the bad guys are getting older. Using the word scum to describe them is an insult to scum.

However, this incident also reminds us that left-behind children in rural areas are most likely to be targeted. Therefore, as a parent, you should never let your child become a left-behind child for any reason at any time. As a parent, you need to fulfill your responsibilities as a parent, protect your child's safety, stay with your child, and give your child a sufficient sense of security.

Don’t evade, don’t fool, don’t be jerky, answer children’s questions calmly, scientifically and popularly

I believe that your children will also ask our parents like mine: "Am I Where did it come from?" Questions like this. For such questions, we must not evade, fool around, or be jerky, but answer children's questions calmly, scientifically, and in a popular way. For example, we can clearly tell the child, "You were born from your mother's belly." "You were born after ten months of pregnancy." "There is a place in the mother's belly that is similar to a small house called the uterus. It is very warm. That's where you grew up." Tell the child clearly the correct answer and satisfy the child's curiosity instead of avoiding the child's question.

The common sense of education to prevent children from being violated is: You can’t go with anyone at any time, and you can’t go to a private place with anyone. When parents are not around, refuse to let anyone take off your clothes; don’t eat candies and other food given by anyone; don’t let anyone see or touch body parts covered by clothes, etc. (Anyone here includes classmates you know, acquaintances such as friends, teachers, neighbors, parents, friends). Because "acquaintances" may also harm children's bodies, tell them about these dangerous behaviors to improve their safety awareness and prepare themselves for self-defense.

Leave children alone with the elderly

Here, I remembered something, which is still quite scary now.

Not long after moving into the community, I suddenly received a call from my child. I asked him what was going on, and he said that an uncle came to the house to check the gas. Then I remembered that only my children and grandma were at home. My grandma is old and her child is still in kindergarten. My heart skipped a beat. I haven’t received any gas inspection notification recently.

I quickly asked the child to check what the gas worker was wearing and whether he had a work ID. After that, I asked my child to send a video connection. I said that I needed to confirm something about the gas with my uncle. After getting the positive confirmation, I felt a little safer and rushed home immediately.

This incident also told me that I usually think that safety education is done well, such as letting children remember their parents’ phone numbers and the police phone number, and not opening the door to strangers, etc., but the reality is still difficult to prevent. The so-called Tao is as high as one foot and the devil is as high as one foot. Therefore, no matter how much you talk without practicing, you are still talking on paper and vulnerable.

I think this incident was caused by serious employees of the gas company. But who can guarantee that when they found out that there was only a little girl and an old man at home, they didn't have any devilish thoughts in their minds? Going back to what happened at the beginning, couldn't it be described as "trouble comes from heaven"? From now on, I don’t dare to leave children and the elderly alone at home or somewhere. I also hope that we parents can do the first safety check of family protection.
