Is the annual inspection the same as the annual inspection?

Annual inspection is different from annual inspection. Automobile annual inspection is aimed at automobile performance test, and annual inspection is aimed at driver's license fee deduction and other aspects. The annual inspection of vehicles means that every vehicle with a formal license and driving license must be tested, which is equivalent to an annual physical examination of vehicles according to the Technical Conditions for Motor Vehicle Operation Safety. The annual inspection of vehicles can eliminate hidden dangers of vehicle safety in time, urge and strengthen vehicle maintenance, and reduce the occurrence of traffic accidents.

Vehicle annual inspection procedures:

1, fill in the form. It is necessary to fill in two forms: Motor Vehicle License Application Form and Motor Vehicle Inspection Record Form, and use a carbon pen instead of a ballpoint pen. There is an annual inspection process for participating vehicles at the filling place;

2. Find the annual inspection entry window, review the materials and enter them;

3. Find the violation query window. If there is any violation, the fine will be paid here together;

4. Ask the inspector to carry out external inspection on the vehicle, open the front cover of the vehicle and check the frame number. The inspector will give a signature page that has passed the inspection. Then, check the payment window and give the invoice;

5. Find the detection login window and leave all the materials in this window. You can drive to the testing workshop;

6. When waiting in line for inspection, someone directs the vehicle. Give a test report after the test;

7. Take the test report back to the business office, hand it over to window 5 to get all the information and sign it as required;

8. Send the information to the window and hand in the driver's license. The clerk will issue annual car stickers and mark the new annual date on the back of the copy of the driver's license.

9. After the annual review, don't forget to stick the car sticker on the upper right corner of the front window.

Legal basis: Article 16 of the Regulations for the Implementation of the Road Traffic Safety Law of the People's Republic of China.

Motor vehicles shall, from the date of registration, carry out safety technical inspection in accordance with the following time limits:

(1) Annual inspection of passenger cars in operation for 5 years 1 time; For more than 5 years, every 6 months 1 time;

(two) trucks and large and medium-sized non-operating buses in 10 years 1 times; 10 years or more, every 6 months 1 time;

(3) Small and micro non-operating buses shall be inspected every 2 years within 6 years 1 time; More than 6 years, per year 1 time; 15 years or more, every 6 months 1 time;

(4) Motorcycle inspection every 2 years within 4 years 1 time; More than 4 years, per year 1 time;

(5) Tractors and other motor vehicles are inspected every year 1 time.

If the operating motor vehicle passes the safety technical inspection within the specified inspection period, the safety technical inspection will not be repeated.
