According to the Records of Pujiang County written by Emperor Qianlong of the Qing Dynasty: Mingyue Temple was built in the eighth year of Chenghua (1472) in the Ming Dynasty. The temple is named Wolonggang because the right mountain resembles the sun and the left mountain resembles the moon. Mingyue Temple.
