Lanling county caibohui composition

My father has great affection for my hometown. He takes me back several times every year. Every time I go back, my father takes me around the village, takes a look in the fields and tells me about the changes in my hometown. I have witnessed the great changes in my hometown with my own eyes.

My hometown is in the middle of Shouguang, on the west bank of Mihe River. It is a small village near the river. Although it is not as lively and prosperous as the city, the traffic there is convenient, the folk customs are simple and the air is fresh.

When my father was a child, he lived in a small, low-rise bungalow, but now it has become a big house with blue bricks and red tiles. The house is well planned, beautifully decorated, with all kinds of furniture, televisions and refrigerators, and many people have installed air conditioners and solar energy. Rows of tall and neat buildings have been built in the north of the village. When I went home last year, the building had been built to the third floor, and soon the farmer's uncle could live in the building, just like the city people.

In the past, vegetables and fruits were not allowed to grow on it. Now the policy is good, and farmers' uncles grow many kinds of vegetables, all of which are green, organic and pollution-free. Last year, at the vegetable fair, I also saw many fruits and vegetables in the south, as well as fruits from Taiwan Province and foreign vegetables. It was really dazzling and amazing.

When my father was a child, he ate steamed buns and pickles, and he could only eat steamed bread or dumplings with white flour on holidays. Now, the farmer's uncle eats well three meals a day, including chicken, duck, fish and fresh vegetables, which are well-prepared and nutritious.

In the past, when my father went to school, it was very hard to walk near Shili Township Road with his schoolbag and dry food on his back. Now students have a school bus to pick them up, so it's no longer so hard. Now farmers also use machines to plow, sow and harvest. They ride bicycles and motorcycles to work in the fields, take buses when they travel far away, and wealthy families also buy private cars.

I feel that the changes in my hometown are really great. The life of farmers is really "sesame blossoms-rising day by day"! I thought, "Why has my hometown changed so much now, and why is life so good?" I think these are all good national policies and rapid development of science and technology, which are all great changes brought by reform and opening up to the countryside!

We must cherish today's happy life, study hard and build our country better when we grow up.
