Introduction of the landlord's ancient residence in Tianzhongwan Village Anti-Japanese Memorial Hall

In the Tianwan Village Anti-Japanese Memorial Hall, there is an old house of an old landlord, which has been preserved for more than 300 years and has become an important ancient cultural relic building. In modern times, it was our military logistics medical base and red revolutionary tourism base.

When I was visiting Fuxi Mountain in western Henan, I saw a mansion 300 years ago, and its owner used to be a big landlord in the village.

The mansion in front of us is different from what we imagined. It is a two-story mansion with two-story buildings as the main body. It is full of stones inside and outside, backed by a hillside, and looks like a dusty castle. It is difficult for me to associate it with the mansion at the moment.

My tour guide told me that this building was built in the early Qing Dynasty and has a history of more than 300 years. Because it is made of stone, it has been well preserved after hundreds of years of ups and downs.

The tour guide went on to say that all the buildings we usually see in the Qing Dynasty are rebuilt, but what is preserved and displayed here is the original appearance. From the mottled stone walls, we can see the vicissitudes of hundreds of years, and the broken beams and columns in the house make everything in front of us very real.

The owner of this mansion, Wang Laoliu, was a famous landlord in the village of Qing Dynasty, and was named after the sixth place in his family. The landlords' mansion in mountainous areas is not elegant and poetic in the south of the Yangtze River, but solid and practical, with the aim of preventing bandits.

Banditry in ancient mountainous areas was serious. At that time, bandits still had some chivalrous feelings, only robbing the rich, not the poor, so the rich built the house indestructible. The landlord Wang Lao Liu built his house with stones, and the whole mansion has small windows and ingenious structure, which is also the same reason.

People in the Qing Dynasty were not as good as they are now. I wish I could eat enough at that time. For ordinary families, it is enough to have a thatched cottage to shelter from the wind and rain. The landlord is different. Look at this two-story building. There are more than a dozen rooms inside and outside, which are divided into principal rooms, wing rooms, halls and wing rooms. There is also a kitchen and a social animal fence in the yard. At first glance, it looks like a big house.

Don't underestimate the stone house. Its construction technology is not simple. Stone must be ground flat first, and every surface should be polished neatly. This process is very time-consuming. The workload of the stone house Rainbow Lao Liu is even more amazing.

The rooms are connected by stairs, which are also made of stone. Each room is connected by coupon doors and looks spacious and bright. The coupon door is arched. There are old furniture, buckets for carrying water, rain hats and a loom at home. The shabby appearance should be a cultural relic of the last century.

There is an operating room on the north side of Wanglaoliu Mansion. I wonder what it is. The tour guide said that during the period of War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression, this area was a revolutionary base. At that time, because the house was strong, it was changed into a hospital, and this operating room was one of them.

There is a medicine cabinet in the operating room, which contains many Chinese medicines I don't know. There is a medicine box marked with the red cross below, which must be used by medical staff in the field. There is a couplet written in front of the operating room: medicine can cure all diseases and rejuvenate children; There is a secret recipe that can make people live longer.

This humble hospital is divided into three parts: ward, operating room and tool room. Looking at the hanging slogan, the years of fire fighting emerged in front of me. Several nurses in white coats rushed back and forth, and the injured soldier was bandaged and groaned in pain.

The tour guide said that next to Wang Laoliu's mansion, there used to be a stone house in the Ming Dynasty, which was also owned by a landlord. But the quality of the building is not as good as that of Wang Laoliu. After years of romantic attacks, it collapsed, leaving only a piece of rubble.

Nowadays, Tianzhongwan Village has been transformed into an anti-Japanese memorial park, and the mansion of landlord Wang Laoliu is one of the important attractions. I think, maybe three hundred years ago, Wang Laoliu didn't expect that many ordinary people would visit his house one day. I don't know if he is happy or has other ideas.
