Halfway up the snow-capped mountains, there is an alpine meadow where you can see the snow-capped mountains in the distance. The large ropeway can go straight up to the glacier, reaching a maximum altitude of 4680M. Each has its own merits, but generally in winter the snow-capped mountain tops will be shrouded in clouds and mist every afternoon. The price of the large ropeway is relatively expensive. It is said that the price has increased to 480RMB. If you rent a car by yourself, it is recommended to go early in the morning. You can contact the car outside the ancient city one day in advance and leave early the next morning. If you have time in the afternoon, you can go to Shuhe Ancient Town. If you don’t have time, you won’t lose anything if you don’t go.

2: Lashihai This is a typical plateau lake. It is about 5-7KM away from the ancient city. Winter is the best season. Many seasonal migratory waterbirds spend the winter here, especially there are many wild ducks, which are very fat. The best way to travel is by bicycle. Generally, many hotels have bicycle rentals for 10-15 RMB per day, or there are bicycle rentals at the Red Sun Plaza in Xincheng for 15 RMB/day, with a bottle of mineral water and a hand-drawn map. (2004 Spring Festival price) According to the locals: the whole road is easy to walk, but it has to climb a small slope. However, I can tell you responsibly that the so-called small slope is called Huangshan Pass. It is a hill, not a small slope. But it felt good all the way, and it was worth being so tired, especially when going down the mountain. The bike was racing on the mountain road, and it felt like freedom. Tip: Bring plenty of water with you. You can walk along the path along the seaside. It’s very free and you don’t have to worry about getting lost and it’s impossible to get lost. The local residents are very hospitable and can at least ask for some boiled water. There are generally not many people in the morning. Don't go in the scenic area, there is no point, just ride around. 3: Shigu, Tiger Leaping Gorge Shigu Town is located 45 kilometers northwest of Lijiang City, where the first bay of the Yangtze River is located. It is recommended to take a one-day tour, it is simple and convenient. If you rent a car, inquire about the itinerary in detail before going. Because I went to Tiger Leaping Gorge for a hike and it felt good. I don’t need to introduce this. The only thing I want to emphasize is that the best small hotel I have ever stayed in is HALF WAY. I must do it on the balcony to make it worthwhile. Above the line, there are places worth visiting in the surrounding areas, which are not far away. There are also some things like Shuhe Ancient Town that are not worth visiting. But the essence of Lijiang is in the ancient city.

1: Sifang Street is the core of the ancient city. If you live there, you will pass by it several times every day. It’s very commercial now, with small stalls everywhere. It's a shame, but I feel great in the morning.

2: The official office of the Lijiang chieftain in Mufu. The architecture is very typical, but it is not worth visiting. Of course, those who are interested in history and ancient architecture can go see it.

3: The Wangu Tower is on one side of the ancient city, on a hillside, overlooking Lijiang, with a good perspective. It's not an ancient building, just an antique building. However, it seems that the tickets are not cheap. In fact, if you want to see the panoramic view of Lijiang, Wangu Tower is not the only choice. There is a hotel next to Wangu Tower. You can drink tea on the second floor roof of the hotel and the view is also good. There are several ways to go up to Wangulou. The traditional way is to take Huangshan Street. However, there is a small road on Xinhua Road that can go up to the hill. If you want to take pictures, you can walk there. You can shuttle between old houses all the way. It feels good and you won’t get lost. It’s no problem if you need to keep looking at the TV tower on the mountain.

4: Black Dragon Pool Park is the only park in Lijiang City. In fact, the entire Lijiang is a park, so Black Dragon Pool is a park within a park. There is a good place to see the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain in the distance. Go check it out, the water is good. The location is in Xincheng, you can walk or take a minibus. However, the most attractive thing about Lijiang is not these attractions, but the feeling. Clear flowing water, ancient wooden houses, leisurely people, bright sunshine, and the slow flow of time. My biggest feeling in Lijiang was a strange girl’s words: Rot in Lijiang. This is a place where you can completely forget about time.

The sun is shining every day, and the sun in winter is very comfortable, but the sun there in summer is unbearable. It is possible to get lost in the ancient city at night. It is best not to wander around in the alleys and go directly back to Sifang Street. The entire ancient city is based on Sifang Street. Also, the TV tower can be seen from anywhere and is the best road sign. Of course, there are many police patrols at night, and you can also let them lead the way. This is the best way.

The most unmissable things in Lijiang:

1 The quiet streets of the ancient city in the early morning, the dim street lights, and the shimmering stone pavement are the most beautiful moments of the ancient city.

2 The sky is blue, the water is green, the grass is yellow, and the wind is strong. Wild ducks fly across the sky, and the sun warms the face. Lie on the grass by the sea, feel the scorching winter sun, and appreciate your own insignificance.

3 No matter what the glacier of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain is, not everyone can appreciate the height of 4680M. Jump there, maybe that's the highest place you can stand on your feet.

4. Food in Lijiang is expensive. Especially when chartering a car to go out for fun, don’t listen to recommendations. It is recommended that everyone go out and prepare more dry food.

5. Accommodation in Lijiang. There are about 400 inns in the ancient city, and there are all kinds of hotels and guest houses of various grades outside the ancient city. Inns with better conditions only cost about 100 yuan, while those with worse conditions cost 15 to 20 yuan.
