The state strictly prohibits illegal occupation of cultivated land in eight areas

Eight prohibitions: It is not allowed to occupy permanent basic farmland to build houses. It is not allowed to occupy large amounts of cultivated land to build houses. It is not allowed to buy, sell or transfer cultivated land and build houses illegally. Illegal building of houses on contracted farmland is not allowed. It is not allowed to illegally occupy cultivated land and build houses under false pretexts. It is not allowed to occupy cultivated land and build houses in violation of the "one household, one house" regulation. Illegal sales of houses built on cultivated land are not allowed. Illegal approval for occupying cultivated land to build houses is not allowed. Six strict prohibitions: It is strictly prohibited to illegally occupy cultivated land for greening and afforestation; it is strictly prohibited to build green passages beyond the standard; it is strictly prohibited to illegally occupy cultivated land to dig lakes and landscape; it is strictly prohibited to occupy permanent basic farmland to expand natural protection areas; it is strictly prohibited to illegally occupy cultivated land for non-agricultural construction; it is strictly prohibited to grant land in violation of laws and regulations land use. Five prohibitions: You are not allowed to dig lakes, landscape, or plant turf on general farmland; you are not allowed to expand the scale of returning farmland to forests, grassland, or lakes without authorization; you are not allowed to occupy land outside the red lines of railways, highways, etc., in violation of regulations and beyond the standards, as well as on both sides of rivers and around reservoirs. General cultivated land shall be planted with trees to build green belts; general cultivated land may not be occupied without approval to implement land greening; without approval, industrial and commercial enterprises and other social capital shall not convert general cultivated land that has obtained land management rights through transfer into forestland, garden land and other agricultural land without approval.
