The history and culture of Jianzhuang Township

In 1935 and 1936, the Red Army's Long March passed through Qianzhuang twice and left propaganda slogans in Shenjia Village, Majie Community Neighborhood Committee, which have been preserved to this day. In June 1949, the Third Border Column Detachment established the Taihua Township Liberation Committee in Jiuzhuang and carried out revolutionary activities using Jiuzhuang as a base. In August 1999, the Yunnan Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China and the Yunnan Provincial People's Government approved Jiazhuang Township as an old revolutionary area. As an old revolutionary area, Jiazhuang has a long history and culture, and has a profound cultural heritage. It was the earliest place to run schools to enrich the people. Zixu Temple and Bailong Temple are relatively well-known and prosperous in history. The extremely famous "Bailong Zen Rhythm, Zixu Taoist Temple, The "eight sceneries" of the village, such as Kuige Ancient Tower, Yige Stone Column, V-shaped Taihua, Hot Water Warmth, Jietian Garden and Honggu Despair, embody the uncanny craftsmanship of nature and the exquisite craftsmanship of the craftsmen of the village. Historically, commerce was developed. There was a saying that "there were twenty-four rice-selling shops in Jinkedu, Yinkelang, and Qianzhuang." Because of the rapid commerce and prosperity, the area was named Qianzhuang (i.e., "money village").
