Yantai Foxconn is in the development zone, with a basic salary of 2,250 yuan, free accommodation, and 12 yuan of food supplement per day. Each month is calculated as 21.75 days. The salary is the basic salary ÷ 21.75 ÷ 8, which is the amount per hour. Overtime on weekdays is 1.5 yuan. Double overtime on Saturdays and Sundays, and triple overtime on statutory holidays. Sick leave is paid at 60% of salary.

As a low-income person, I have no education, no connections, and no capital. What I long most is to work overtime to earn more money to support my family.

The accommodation includes free dormitories, rooms for 6-8 people, with heating and air conditioning, and hot water in both bathrooms.

There is a gym, a playground, a basketball court, a football field, a badminton court, where you can play billiards and table tennis, a free computer room, and a library.

There is a reading club every month, there is a call for text submissions, there is a call for photos and drawings, and there are prizes.

Our department makes mobile phone lenses. There were more than 800 people in one workshop the year before last, but now there are only 150 people left.
