Jurisdiction of Yunnan Forest Fire Brigade

Yunnan Emergency Fire Rescue Corps has 18 detachments and 146 brigades. The comprehensive emergency rescue mobile detachment of Yunnan Emergency Rescue Corps was established in accordance with the requirements of the Fire Rescue Bureau of the Emergency Management Department. It is a comprehensive emergency rescue mobile force that is "based on the province, radiating the periphery, expanding its functions, combining peacetime and wartime, responding quickly, and being mobile and efficient", and undertakes cross-regional rescue tasks for serious disasters and accidents inside and outside the province, including one heavy geological disaster rescue brigade and one. The Yunnan Forest Fire Brigade was formerly the airborne detachment directly under the former Ministry of Forestry, which was adapted from the 15th Army of Airborne Forces. In December 1993, it was transferred to Yunnan from Daxinganling, Heilongjiang Province, expanded into a corps in October 1996, transferred to the Armed Police Force in February 1999 and transferred to the National Emergency Management Department in October 218. Now it has jurisdiction over 5 detachments, 2 directly affiliated brigades and 1 training brigade. Since entering Yunnan 26 years ago, the Corps has used more than 5, troops, and successfully completed more than 3,6 forest fire fighting, more than 14, duty and 179 rescue missions. In recent years, 142 fires have been put out annually, with a maximum of 281 fires a year and 35 fires a week. At most, they fought in 13 fires at the same time in one day, and fought continuously for 66 days and nights for the longest time, and the farthest distance was near Wan Li to reinforce Heilongjiang Province.
