Yuantouzhu is a peninsula in the north of Taihu Lake, named after the floating catfish, and known as "the first scenic spot in Taihu Lake". There are Taoist Fairy Palace and statues of Taoist and Buddhist grottoes on the island, as well as many historical sites and private gardens built by celebrities and dignitaries in the old days.

Slender West Lake: Originally named Hu Baohu, it is located in the northwest suburb of Yangzhou City, Jiangsu Province, with a total area of 2,000 mu, a water area of 700 mu and a tourist area of 65.438 million hectares. Slender West Lake is called Hu Bao. During the Qianlong period, Wang Ling, a poet from Qiantang (Hangzhou), came to Yangzhou and called it Slender West Lake.

Slender West Lake has formed a basic pattern in the period of Kanggan in Qing Dynasty, and it has the reputation of "a hundred gardens are the best in the world". Slender West Lake is mainly divided into 14 scenic spots, including Wu Ting Bridge, No.24 Bridge, Lotus Pond and Diaoyutai.
