Competition rules

1. Each student must fill in the registration form before participating.

2. Each contestant can only submit one piece of work.

3. There is no limit to the theme of the entries (can be movie clips, TV series clips, animation clips), and the duration should be no less than two minutes.

4. Entry format: single player or multi-person combination.

5. The competition is divided into two parts: preliminary and final. In the preliminary competition, the contestants record and upload it themselves, and then the judges select outstanding works to enter the final. In the final, the contestants will re-select their videos for live dubbing, and then the judges and audience will score them live.

6. The entries will be judged based on creativity, skills and other aspects.

7. Entries must be original and cannot be plagiarized. If found, the entry will be immediately disqualified.

Competition procedures

1. Preliminary publicity

1. Post posters on school display boards.

3. Set up a stall next to the school’s main road to promote the event and distribute registration forms.

2. Preparation before the competition

1. Collect the registration form and count the participants.

2. Notify contestants of the start and deadline for submission of works.

3. Establish a judging panel.

3. Preliminary Stage

1. Receive the contestants’ works and classify them according to the form of the works.

2. Convene a panel of judges to watch the entries and rate all the entries.

3. Forty percent of the entries will be selected to enter the finals.

4. Notify each contestant of the evaluation results.

4. Final stage

1. Contact the final venue and plan the on-site layout (including seats for judges, contestants, audiences, staff, on-site banners, screen positions, and backstage areas).

2. The finalists will be informed of the final time and location one week in advance.

3. Purchase player prizes, props needed on site, and small gifts for the audience.

4. Invite some students to be the audience of the finals.

5. The day of the finals

(1) The organizer will enter the competition venue one hour in advance, arrange the venue according to the plan, and debug the multimedia equipment.

(2) The finalists and judges will enter the venue half an hour in advance. The contestants will draw lots on site and upload their works to the on-site equipment in order.

(3) Audiences should enter the venue fifteen minutes in advance. Staff will maintain order on site and issue score sheets.

(4) Host’s opening remarks.

(5) The works of each promoted contestant will be played in sequence, each judge will comment and score, and the audience will give scores.
