Walking through Huanggu, there is a kind of faith stationed in my heart

It is said that the soil and water support the people. This early summer, I had the honor to go into the town of Huanggu twice with the Provincial Federation of Literary and Art Circles and the Sanqing Women's Literary Association. Explain the meaning and connotation of this sentence.

So, what kind of magical field is this? Does Huanggu, which has a lot of talents, have a unique secret in cultivating future generations?

The wind is sunny and people are in good spirits, and the sunset is full of flutes and drums, and a few boats are returning." Near Wang Wenjing’s former residence, a bridge donated and built by him and the river under the bridge attracted all our attention. The river is very quiet and green, and the mountains and houses on the side are reflected in it with clear outlines. In addition, it had just rained, and the sun had not had time to shine wildly, so there was a moist atmosphere everywhere. We were immersed in the beauty of this Jiangnan water and refused to leave for a long time.

I hear the story and legend of Wang Wenjing. How a mountain boy who grew up herding cattle and chopping firewood became a well-known software developer and became one of the world's scientific and technological talents. In addition to the bridge in front of him, he also built schools, roads, and activity centers for the people in his hometown. Every time he came back to visit relatives, his peace and kindness were always talked about by the villagers, and many people called him an elegant gentleman. Confucius once said, "Wealth comes with courtesy." I think that's true.

Also known and admired for its elegance is Wangcun School, a school in Huanggu Town. This nine-year consistent school characterized by elegance won the title of National Education Advanced Unit last year. One can imagine the weight of such an honor.

The other junior high school in the town, Huanggu Middle School, actually has nearly 2,000 students. This is a miracle for Huanggu, which owns two junior high schools. Moreover, it is only 15 kilometers away from the city, but Huanggu people do not send their children to the city like swarms of people in many other towns. Huanggu’s schools can retain children, and Huanggu’s education can retain people’s hearts. This should be the real reason.

In the Bohong Luggage Factory, a poverty alleviation enterprise newly built in Huanggu Town in recent years, we saw more than 200 female workers busy in the workshop. Most of them come from local poverty alleviation registered households and can find jobs without leaving home. These women have solved their livelihoods with their own hands and gained confidence.

The boss lady born in the 1990s at the luggage factory still looks like a little girl, but she speaks calmly and is dignified. She is responsible for production and packaging in her hometown, while her husband is in charge of the company in Yiwu, responsible for product design and order taking. Not only domestically, they have also opened up a large number of foreign markets with online sales as their main model. In this way, the diligent and intelligent couple became the leaders in leading the villagers to get rid of poverty and become rich.

When we were leaving in the car, she held her baby, who was less than one year old, and stood at the gate of the factory waving to us. The smile on her face reflected her joy and pride in becoming a mother for the first time. And she is actually the pride of Huanggu people.

In addition to the luggage factory, Huanggu’s other three major industries—mushroom, kiwi fruit, and soft pomegranate cultivation—are also several of the town’s characteristic industries that improve people’s livelihood and contribute to poverty alleviation. When we stepped into the pomegranate field, the flowers had not yet bloomed; when we stepped into the kiwi orchard, the fruits were not yet ripe; when we walked to the mushroom planting base, fresh hericium, oyster mushrooms, pocket mushrooms, etc. had already been picked and neatly placed in baskets. inside.

However, the leaders of several bases used their enthusiasm to dispel the small regret that we could not experience it in person. Especially the young man who planted soft pomegranates told everyone his story about himself and pomegranates, which made people feel emotional. I have to say that their enthusiasm and drive for their careers make each of us admire them.

After dinner, night slowly fell. Under the guidance of the staff, we came to the night view resort of Huanggu Town - both sides of the river. I saw a bridge across the river, with lights on the side of the bridge flashing, illuminating the sparkling waves of the river. Along the cobblestone road paved by the river, we walked and chatted, or stopped from time to time to lie on the stone railings and enjoy the breeze on our faces. We actually felt like we were on the Huangpu River in Shanghai.

"The people of Huanggu are so happy! Such a beautiful night scene is probably rare in other towns and villages." While we were envious, bursts of shouts and light and shadow came from the river from far to near. In the haze, a dragon boat sailed towards us.

It turns out that the Dragon Boat Festival is approaching, and the villagers are practicing in preparation for the annual dragon boat race. Although we don’t know the number of people, listening to their voices and looking at their speed, we judge that this must be a strong team.

That’s great! Traditional customs are still there, and our cultural fire will be passed down from generation to generation. Seeing this scene, I remembered that in the temple at the foot of the rocky mountain, Chairman Mao asked when talking with the party committee secretary: What kind of spirit does Huanggu people owe to Huanggu's good development trend? The secretary's answer was: It should be the custom of Huanggu people to respect teachers, value education, and advocate culture. What a culture of "respecting teachers, valuing education, and advocating culture".

I remembered again that in the Xu ancestral hall, after the 22nd generation descendant of Xu Yuanjie finished telling the story of his ancestor, he led everyone to recite "On the Lake" with great emotion. An old man in his 80s takes it as his honor and responsibility to pass on this culture. He is already very old, but he is energetic and has smooth thinking. This is the Huanggu people.

Let’s look back at the origin of Huanggu. In ancient times, an emperor of the Tang Dynasty passed through here, hence the name. Nowadays, provincial leaders visit from time to time, local cadres work hard, and the town's various development achievements are outstanding, glorious and stable. In addition, the natural scenery of "one mountain, one rock and one pond" is innate, the education undertaking is deeply rooted in the hearts of the people, and the poverty alleviation industry has obvious benefits... It is so magnificent and solid, how can we not make people look up to it.

The Taotao River is still flowing, and the dragon boat team is still clanging. We return in the night, heavy and joyful. As my fellow teacher Yang said, this trip is very solid, and what should be stationed in our hearts is a kind of faith.
