No parking signs used to be diagonal lines to indicate stopping. Why a fork now?

Usually it is round, with white background and red edge, red diagonal line and black pattern, and there is a diagonal line to indicate that parking is prohibited, but temporary parking is allowed, and long-term parking is not allowed.

If there is a cross in the circle, it means no parking sign, which means no parking on this section. Whether it is long-term or temporary, it is not allowed.
