The hazardous waste from an electric power plant in Zhejiang was transported to Anhui to make bricks, and was ordered to stop production and rectify. What's the matter?

On March 19, in response to the newspaper's exclusive report that "hundreds of tons of hazardous waste sludge from an electrolytic plant in Zhejiang Province were transported to Anhui to make bricks, and the police have controlled three people", the propaganda department of Jinyun County Committee of Lishui City, Zhejiang Province sent the newspaper the preliminary handling of the incident: the enterprises involved were sealed up and Wu Company was ordered to suspend production for rectification. At the same time, carry out special rectification actions for hazardous wastes.

The manuscript of this newspaper exposed that Jinyun Wutongshu Hardware Products Co., Ltd. was suspected of illegally dumping hazardous waste sludge across provinces. The Jinyun County Party Committee and the county government immediately asked relevant departments to investigate this matter. According to preliminary verification, the report is basically true. After verification, the sludge produced by Wutongshu Hardware Products Co., Ltd. since its opening is consistent with the ledger except that the whereabouts of the involved100t are unknown. Wutongshu Hardware Products Co., Ltd. has entrusted Hangzhou Fuyang Shenneng Solid Waste Environmental Protection Recycling Co., Ltd. to dispose of this batch of sludge. As of March 18, more than 800 bags have been bagged.

It is preliminarily found out that from 2065438 to June 2006, Jinyun Wutongshu Hardware Products Co., Ltd. (legal representative Wu Jianfeng, Yongkang) rented the electrolysis workshop of Tao Tao Group Co., Ltd. to electrolyze the vacuum sucker. Through Li Jian (employee of our factory), the company handed over the electrolytic sludge to Guo Fei (Anhui) for disposal in the name of Anhui Nengheng Environmental Protection Technology Co., Ltd. Since September last year, the company has arranged vehicles to transport more than 65,438,000 tons of electrolytic sludge to Zhiyuan Building Materials Factory in Xiao Wei Town, Wuhe County, and mix it with ordinary sludge to make bricks. At present, the case has been investigated by Wuhe County Environmental Protection Bureau and Public Security Bureau of Anhui Province. Zhong Zhiyuan, the head of Zhiyuan Building Materials Factory in Xiao Wei Town, Wuhe County, Li Jian, and the employee of Jinyun Wutongshu Hardware Products Co., Ltd. and the driver have been criminally detained, and Wu Jianfeng, the legal representative of the company, has been wanted online.

After the incident was identified, the relevant departments immediately started the disposal work: requesting the public security organs of Jinyun County to assist the Anhui public security organs to fully arrest the suspects; Immediately seal up the enterprises involved and order Wu Company to stop production; Instruct the Environmental Protection Bureau of Jinyun County to assist the environmental protection department of the incident to properly dispose of the hazardous waste sludge involved; In other words, we will carry out special rectification actions for hazardous wastes, conduct a comprehensive investigation of enterprises that produce hazardous wastes in the county, and strengthen supervision.
