In February 1930, a "Junkers" advanced training aircraft of the Kuomintang flew from Wuhan to Kaifeng to perform a communications mission. On the way back, the plane ran out of gasoline and made an emergency landing on the Chenjia River beach near Xuanhuadian at the junction of Chibai and Chibai in the southern part of the Dabie Mountains. The bureau is located in the "Puji Temple" in the north of the county.

The "Lenin" made its maiden voyage to Gushi, Huangchuan and other places to detect the enemy's situation, and airdropped 40 to 50 bundles of revolutionary slogans and leaflets, which shocked southern Henan. On December 24, 1931, the "Lenin" dropped two bombs in Huang'an City, hitting the headquarters of Zhao Guanying, commander of the 69th Division, which was defending the enemy. It cooperated with the Fourth Red Army to win the Battle of Huang'an and captured Huang'an in one fell swoop.
