Central regulations on straw burning

1. Unreasonable burning of straw is prohibited. In accordance with the relevant provisions of the state, it is forbidden to use unreasonable straw burning methods such as open burning and heap burning. Especially around cities and environmentally sensitive areas, straw burning should be strictly controlled.

2. Strengthen the resource utilization of agricultural wastes. The state encourages the recycling of agricultural wastes such as straw returning to fields, briquette utilization and biomass energy utilization.

3. Improve the policy of comprehensive utilization of straw. The central government has issued a series of policies and measures to encourage and support the comprehensive utilization of straw, such as setting up special funds, providing tax incentives, giving priority to land use and subsidies.

4. Strict management and supervision. Governments at all levels and relevant departments should strengthen the management and supervision of straw burning, establish and improve the information disclosure system of straw burning, and timely announce the situation of straw burning.
