The Modern Medical Center of Suihua First Hospital is located at the intersection of Beilin Street and Qingfeng Street. It is a major project in Suihua City and has attracted the attention and love of the Municipal Party Committee, the Municipal Government and the people of the city. The project was approved by the Suihua Municipal Development and Reform Commission in September 2004, and construction officially started on August 1, 2005. It was completed and put into use on September 1, 2008. The Modern Medical Center of Suihua First Hospital has a construction area of ??53,900 square meters, with 15 floors, including 1 underground floor and 14 floors above ground. It is a large modern medical building integrating outpatient and emergency services, medical technology, and hospitalization. The underground floor has a construction area of ??10,000 square meters and is equipped with a parking lot, staff restaurant, substation, laundry room, supply room, radiotherapy center, gas supply center, material warehouse, etc. The first floor has a DSA clinic area, registration and collection, pharmacy, emergency department, comprehensive oncology department, CT, MRI, and admission and discharge processing center. On the second floor there are internal medicine clinics, obstetrics and gynecology clinics, ultrasound department, endoscopic center, functional department, examination center and radiology department. The third floor contains ophthalmology clinic area, dental clinic, otolaryngology clinic area, surgical clinic area, central operating room, pathology department, blood transfusion department, outpatient operating room, and central ICU. There are 22 clinical departments above the fourth floor, including internal medicine, surgery, obstetrics and gynecology, facial features, and VIP wards. Each ward has 36 beds, and the building has 844 beds.

The horizontal transportation of the building adopts a "T"-shaped hospital street centered on the Sunshine Hall, which distinguishes outpatient clinics and medical technology to maximize the medical process and facilitate patients. The former podium on Hospital Street was the outpatient clinic area, and the first, second and third floors of the main building behind Hospital Street were the medical technical examination department. The main building uses 8 elevators as the main transportation paths, and 3 walking stairs for vertical transportation. The three-story podium uses 2 sightseeing elevators, 3 vertical lifts, and 4 escalators in conjunction with the stairs for vertical transportation. Eye-catching slogans are set in the passages to guide patients to seek medical treatment.

The hospital uses local area network for medical management. One-card service will be implemented for patients' medical treatment, and the building will gradually implement laboratory systems, imaging systems, office automation, etc., and will be equipped with cable TV systems, broadband network systems, telephone systems, security monitoring systems, and LED electronic screen systems. Office furniture, ward supplies, medical equipment, etc. are all newly purchased.

The building is a Class I seismic design, using bored grouting pile foundation, and the main body adopts frame shear wall structure, with an earthquake resistance level of 8. Fire hydrants and automatic alarm sprinkler systems are used for fire protection in the building. It is intelligently controlled by the fire control center. The exterior walls of the building are all made of steel-hanging stone walls, which are natural, beautiful, strong and durable. The middle area between the clinic and the main building facade adopts a glass curtain wall structure and is embellished with exterior stone. The roof shape adopts the curved outward-turning design of aluminum single panels, reflecting the vase-like beauty of the building. The built-in lighting strips make the building more dazzling at night. Functionally, the building mainly highlights its modern, spacious, bright, comfortable and convenient features, as well as its patient-centered service concept.

The hospital's modern medical center currently has 1,000 employees, 884 professional and technical personnel, and 116 logistics and other service personnel. It has cardiovascular, respiratory, digestive, neurological, renal, blood, endocrine, diabetes, general surgery, extracerebral, extrathoracic, extraskeletal, extracranial, obstetrics and gynecology, facial features, head and neck and maxillofacial surgery, anesthesia, central operating rooms, etc. There are 22 clinical departments and 12 medical technology departments such as functional, ultrasound, radiation, CT, MRI, DSA, and EEG. There are more than 350 pieces of large-scale medical equipment such as 16-slice spiral CT and 1.6T MRI. With the putting into use of the modern medical center, the hospital group management and the construction pattern of "one hospital, two districts" have been formed.
